GoogleMoving home proved to be a much longer and far more stressful process than we'd ever imagined!
We were hit with numerous delays, issues, and hurdles; the only saving grace being our lighthouse in the storm, by the name of Jeanne.
Jeanne was always just a phonecall away, and more than happy to help in any way possible.
To have someone knowledgeable, supportive and available to contact directly was the only thing that kept us sane!
Kate and Jamie were also extremely helpful and supportive whenever we spoke with them.
We found our forever home through Bidmead Cook, and are grateful for all their help in us achieving our dream.

FacebookBidmead cook in Ross were very helpful and easy to get hold of. They were friendly and informative with my valuation and although the figure given was slightly more inflated then others I still preferred their more personal approach then others. We found Emma Berry to be very helpful and I would recommend her personally as she will really fight to sort out buyers and solicitors. I sometimes felt that some at the estate agents were more concerned about our buyers than us so as a couple of things to work on I would just ensure that the seller always feels you are on their side and give a bit of a timeline as to what to expect as we were not sure when we were meant to hear from different people or what the process was. All in all a great service and thank you Emma for all your hard work.

GoogleI do not reccomend renting through them! They charge a lot more than other company's, like renewal fees and leaving fees, but you get nothing in return. Chris was a pain to deal with! Never available, ignorant and unhelpful.They forget to warn us that we can't use the whole garden due to some, Japanese weed, that we needed to learn from the landlord himself,as he rushed in and warned us as we started to clean the garden out. The thousand year old boiler was continuously braking down and we have left for days without heating or hot water. The only person who was helpful with us is Kelly,who had nothing to do with renting.

GoogleClaire and her team in Aberdare exceeded my expectations every step of the way. Claire met us at the property on a Sunday so we could hand over keys (because we live over 200 miles away and this was the only day we could get there), she put the property on the market the day after, arranged several viewings the same day and got an offer of the asking price immediately; her advice on market value was spot on. The sale went through so fast that the entire transaction took exactly 31 days from our first meeting to completion. Claire and Kerin kept in touch throughout and nothing was too much trouble, from reading the meters, inspecting the property weekly for insurance purposes and collecting post. I would happily use their services again and can highly recommend this agency!

I can’t praise their professionalism, knowledge and customer service enough - and as someone who has worked in that remit for some time, it really does make a difference to the entire experience. FacebookIf I could give a zero or minus rating, the Pencoed branch would get it. Avoid at all cost. I have never come across such an unprofessional and untrustworthy establishment. The Sharon Howe is named because I believe she has been the biggest problem. For a branch manager, I would expect excellent service of a trustworthy nature. This I did not get. We were lied to from the very beginning. We relocated with 4 young children from England. We were told it would be a long,long term rental. Before the 6 months was up, we were told that out of the blue the new landlords wished to move in and that Sharon was "as shocked as we were". This is a lie as we have since established that the new landlords told them of their intentions when they agreed on the sale, before we moved in!!!! They even wanted to measure up for renovations the weekend we moved in!!!!! Shocking, unprofessional behaviour who does not deserve the custom they get.

FacebookSpoke to Nicola in accounts today. Asked her why Bidmead had taken rent out 2 months after we left the property. My partner was told as she's as adult she should be taking care of her own accounts. Then laughed at me then laughed and said for goodness sake it's not going to happen until Monday (referring to getting the months rent refunded). Absolutely appalling service ONCE AGAIN from Bidmead. Avoid ever renting through this agency If what you want is an agent who can take care of things for you in an empathetic manor. No im sorry, no I'll see what we can do. Just laughing. FacebookBeen an absolute nightmare from day 1. Brenda from the Brynmawr estate agents, I have no Idea how she's been employed. She isn't competent enough to pass on simple information, regarding contract resigning. This isn't the first time she has done this either. Saying she's at the Ebbw Vale branch, when she wasn't! Then told us we were able to collect and sign contracts at home.. Failing to mentioned we needed a witness. I've never know an estate agents to be so lazy, selfish and doesn't grasp the concept of good customer service.

From those who took time out of their weekends to give me extra access to the property (I lived 4hrs away) so I could take measurements in readiness for completion (thank you!), and to Jeanne in the sales team who pretty much oversaw and pushed everyone managing my purchase to reach exchange when I was completely let down by my conveyancers. My faith has been completely restored in estate agents and I will definitely use them in the future should I wish to sell. THANK YOU ALL!!!

Today I contacted her by phone after many previous complaints to be told she'd investigate this afternoon and promised to get back to me by close of day. Yet again no contact.... I have requested her Director details Jeanne Fry Thomas by 10am tommorow and their complaints procedure. I bet I don't hear from her.....I am so very stressed and will be going to ombudsman. DO NOT ENGAGE with these unprofessionals.
