I recently approached Your Move Estate Agents Anscomb’s Colliergate (over looking Kings Square) York about a property which they were advising for sale. From my initial contact to arrange a viewing, they have provided an extremely efficient, professional and friendly service. Everyone of the team is aware of your situation when you contact the office therefore you are not passed around to different members of staff when you have a question. Scott in particular has been amazing in assisting us to structure an offer. Having dealt with several Estate Agents over the years this one definitely stands out as the best. Throughout a long 14 months process to move house, Sam couldn’t have been any better to work with. We recently worked with Your Move for the sale of our property and the purchase of a new one, and the experience was outstanding. Despite not having our house listed when we found the property we wanted, Your Move moved very quickly. Within a day of instructing them, their team had arranged professional photography, listed our property online, and secured a buyer by the end of the week. A special mention goes to Sam Broadley, who was absolutely fantastic throughout the entire process. I actually made the dreadful mistake in appointing Yopa as the estate agents to sell my house, several written complaints and numerous calls to their “support” number and the sale eventually went through, this couldn’t have been any different when compared to the interaction with Your Move. Their service and support was absolute polar opposites to Yopa! Emma always kept me informed on the purchase of my new home, Sophie went above and beyond with the viewing of the property and the whole team were always on hand for queries and answers to any questions. When buying or selling houses it can be a very stressful time, I wish I’d had appointed Your Move as my estate agent, they take away the stress where they can. We have recently sold our property in York with Your Move Anscombs and they have been brilliant. We initially went with them through a personal recommendation and Scott went above and beyond to help us with the sale. It could have been particularly difficult as we now live over 200 miles away, however both Scott and Sam were so helpful it really didn’t make a difference that we were not living in the property. We were particularly impressed by the communication. Using a WhatsApp group made a huge difference and seemed like a logical and incredibly helpful way for us all to keep in touch. We recently sold a house with Anscombs and would be very pleased to recommend them. Craig provided the initial valuation. Craig seemed very knowledgeable about the area and provided what i think was a realistic price, based on the current market. Once the photos had been taken the property was on the market the following day and Rob took care of us and the sale from then on. Rob was very proactive, chasing all parties, when necessary, and really good at keeping us updated with progress. We asked Anscombs for a valuation as they had recently sold two properties nearby. We immediately liked Scott and didn’t bother to ask any other agents. He gave a realistic valuation and from then onwards the service was absolutely outstanding. Photos were arranged for a sunny day and the brochure was on the market by noon the following day. Viewings were agreed and our property sold within a week. Communication with Scott and Liz was excellent and they gave lots of extra help and encouragement when our purchase of a house failed.
