We had a very complicated chain, without their support I think we would have lost our buyer. We were grateful that they had a sales progressor who was able to speak to everyone in the chain, something that only independent agents have, this meant that after 8 months from accepting an offer we finally moved.

We bought a property recently through Hunters, yet to complete, but they have been absolutely fantastic throughout the process. I wish we had used them to sell our house as well, as they have been proactive, very communicative and extremely professional. I could not recommend them any higher.

Knowle - Hunters! Worst Estate Agency of all time! AVOID - They lie about everything and provide incorrect details! They are rude and came of really racist to my partner and I! We were really upset by this experience! Please, I beg. Stay away and keep your peace of mind!

I had a viewing arranged and nobody could give me a meeting point for a large apartment building with several entrances. Spent nearly 20 minutes at the location wondering around and trying to reach the person that was supposed to show me around, all calls declined. Office couldn’t get through to her either and when she finally calls me is to rudely tell me off for not showing up at a different entrance when she never told me where to go, speaking to me in an angry tone and then hanging up.

We have taken our flat off the market following 2 failures by the agents in Filey. All seemed well to start with,enthusiastic staff produced good pictures etc. We had a viewing, a few days later we had the good news that the lady was to purchase. 3 weeks later, we were informed that she was indeed NOT buying our flat, but another in our block, still not sure where the responsibility for this lies. The second occasion, we had a second viewing from a few months ago, so were really excited. 5 minutes after the appointment we were informed the gentleman didn't even have his property on the market !! Apparently, we should have stipulated we only wanted people who are in a position to proceed. Never have we heard such stupidity, thought agents sold properties !!??

I live next door to a property Hunters rent out and my life is being made a living hell by tenants they refuse to deal with. I own my property and I am appalled that when their tenants are using Class B drugs, having drug dealers knocking on their front door late at night, their visitors parking on my property and verbal abuse, they have done nothing. This is the Pudsey Branch in Leeds and I would give them no stars if I could.

I am compelled to write this review to express my deep concern and disappointment with the lack of action taken by Hunters in response to a serious safety incident within one of their managed properties.Recently, I was assaulted by one of their tenants who not only brandished a knife but also forcibly entered my apartment and injured my cat. This shocking and dangerous incident has left me and other residents in the building feeling vulnerable and fearful for our safety.Despite the severity of the situation, and their tenant pleading guilty to assaulting another tenant, the response from Hunters has been shockingly inadequate. Instead of promptly addressing the issue and taking steps to ensure the safety of all residents, the management has refused to evict the responsible tenant. This decision is not only a blatant disregard for the well-being of other residents but also a failure to uphold the basic standards of tenant safety and security.It is deeply disheartening to see a property management company neglect its responsibility to maintain a secure and peaceful living environment. The safety of tenants should be paramount, and it is unacceptable that Hunters is allowing such a threat to persist within the community.Prospective tenants, please be aware of the lack of security and prioritization of tenant safety at properties managed by Hunters. In the face of a serious security breach, the management's inaction speaks volumes about their commitment to the well-being of those who entrust them with their housing needs.I urge Hunters to reconsider their stance and take immediate action to ensure the safety and security of all residents in their managed properties.Michael Ryan

Viewed a property in Sheffield advertised through Hunters, Hunters Bar Office. The agent, Andrew Mills, turned up on time, showed us through the property, and gave us helpful information and advice. A second viewing was accommodated without any fuss. We used a solicitor recommended by them and the whole process took less than 4 weeks. If the phone wasn't answered immediately, then someone always phoned back promptly. All enquiries were dealt with promptly and in a friendly manner. Would highly recommend anyone looking to buy or sell.

Had Hunters out to value my property for sale but got really bad vibes from the valuer. Found them to be unprofessional so went with another agency (who were amazing)Unfortunately a property I liked was up with Hunters. Tried to negotiate a deal on the property but the communication through Hunters was not good. I don’t think it was the process rather the person handling it. When negotiating you would expect them to act as professional intermediaries however they were disinterested and as cold as a wet fish. I would have been better dealing directly with the homeowner and we may have been able to make a deal. I left my offer on the table but I have no idea if that was ever passed onto the homeowner. I’m sure there will be some great Hunters branches out there but I’ve not come across one yet. My heart sinks a bit now if I see a property up with Hunters. I just don’t want to deal with them ever for a purchase.Edit.We did end up buying a house through a Hunters branch. Although I did do the deal directly with the homeowner in the first instance we agreed on how to proceed and then we went to the agent. They were actually very good so I guess it’s pot luck which branch you use.

Nicole, who works at the Middleton branch had been fantastic from start to finish. I recently bought a house and the solicitor part of the process was slow and poor on communication. Nicole chased information, kept me updated and did check ins. Highly recommend.

TrustpilotQuite possibly "the worst" Agent I have…
Quite possibly "the worst" Agent I have ever come across (Leeds area) . My daughters 1st apartment, paying top dollar and she can see sky through the roof, water running (not leaking) out of badly corroded Radiators damp everywhere. We have asked repeatedly to have these issues fixed and nothing has been done, just emails from agent to landlord and that's where it ends. Today she has said it's to cold and draughts to stay there any longer and the reply is"you need to give 2 months notice"BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE

Totally disgusting practices. This company are selling a detached property next to my home. They say it’s impossible not to include a photograph of the full frontage of my house as well. I requested the photo be cropped or changed. For a few days I regained my privacy but again the original photo has returned and is all over the internet. They say they can’t show their clients garage without my house being in the picture. Absolute garbage as the garage is on the other side of the house being sold not next to my house!!! It’s obvious they are using my home to paint a picture of a nice residential road. It’s 100% possible to take a photo showing the house , driveway and garage of their clients property without including my home. Awful just awful.

I cannot recommend this agency and especially its branch in Solihull. Hunters took over the care of a house I had been renting for 11 years. At the handover of the house, no one even showed up to inspect the property, make a report and collect the keys. The property was inspected by them after 6 weeks with serious complaints about the maintenance of the property.The deposit was not returned. In the meantime, when I was already living elsewhere they sent assignments to pay rent for a house I had not occupied for a long time. Zero professionalism. No response to phone calls, messages left, etc.Avoid this agency. Do not rent premises through its agency. Problems guaranteed.

S. YORKS. If I could give a negative score, I would. What an absolute bunch of useless w-----s. As a tenant we, get 6 monthly inspections, not a problem at all. The problem is, they hardly ever do the work needed & when they do, they employ the most r------d & incompetent person possible & the quality of the work is ALWAYS s--t. When you complain, they do nothing about it. For people using them as an agent: they are letting your properties deteriorate while charging you the earth.

TrustpilotBy far the worst service I've received at South Manchester Branch
By far the worst service I've received from a company when applying for a job. Apart from inappropriate expressions towards me on the phone, the South Manchester branch owner Alan Sutton called me 'small minded' on email. How inappropriate is this for a business emphasizing 'customer-centric approach'. They're right when stating they're transparent though. Clearly shows who you're dealing with from the first few interactions.I've applied for one of the positions at Hunters South Manchester Branch. One of the team memebers rang me to arrange an interview and asked details about how I'd be getting there and when I gave him my address he confirmed it would have been a 20 minute drive. It was my mistake for not confirming the branch location. However, due to this timing reference, I assumed it would have been the Middleton branch. I've had to rearrange the interview once for personal circumstances. On the day when I was going to attend the interview, I've clocked they were calling from the South Manchester branch as it appeared on my recent calls. This is when I've realised it wouldn't have been the Middleton branch and called to check with them. When they confirmed the address, it was an hour drive from my place. When I tried to explain this to this person I was speaking to (Didn't introduce themselves. I assume it was Alan Sutton from the communication style I've now established), they said to me 'try not to waste anyone else's time'.Furthermore, I've written a formal complaint to which Alan Sutton replied with personal insults including ''It does seem to me that you displayed no aptitude for the geography needed or consideration for others, to support the excellent reputation we hold.''; ''All staff have full professional qualifications. Do you have any ?''; and the best ''we are lucky not to employ small minded and opinionated people''. Alan clearly showing how open minded he is, yet being so transparent. I am glad this situation has happened to me to find out what kind of treatment and service is provided to customers in this so 'reputable' and 'professional' company, as I would not like to be employed by such 'professionals' in their field.

This is one of the worst company ever. My deposit is stuck with them for more than 4 months now. mary.mcgarry is the worst representative to work with. they never respond. we have been following for 3 months over call and emails but they pick up call and then keep saying we will get back to you. Never wok with Hunter.

Do not take responsibility or interest in the legalities of what they are selling. For instance, they have had a Goldthorpe S Yorks property on there books since at least 2017 ( when it was reduced in price). The property includes a building in the yard, which might have been sold separately. Person on the phone, did not know what the status of the property was.Park Rd Barnsley. Very large garden, with planning permission for house, actually permission is expired and owner of property sold land to company he owns. Have pressed on whether the owner is in a position to sell the land. No answer.Everyone at an individual office is given a title such as CEO

Estate agent was the rudest I've ever seen. Property was rented and we were not told before making a 1 hour trip. Arrived 4 mins past agreed time and we were insulted beyiond measure. I wish I could take legal action against them.
