I switched to EweMove (York) from another estate agent mid October 2025. That late in the year I had little expectation of selling before the spring. But within days Jonathan had a viewer for me and a few months later I was moving into my new home. Both Jonathan and Alex kept me well informed during the process. Just a shame I didn't go with EweMove from the get go.

I am so happy we decided to use Jonathan at EweMove to sell our house. From start to finish he was extremely professional and I knew he was someone I could trust and have sensible discussions with. He acted with integrity throughout the transaction. Jonathan also took excellent photos and a video tour of our house, was proactive with chasing the buyers solicitor and following everything up with the buyer herself and he also recommended tradesmen who we used for fix a couple of things around the house that needed to be done to secure a sale. If you are thinking about using Jonathan and EweMove then I would definitely recommend them.

Alex Bethanis offered a superb service from valuation to completion. She adopted a pragmatic and down to earth approach which ultimately achieved a successful sale stc within a month. She photographed and marketed the property herself, in addition to showing all prospective buyers around whilst demonstrating excellent knowledge of the local area. Alex stepped in again to mediate between all parties, including solicitors, when negotiations became difficult. I have nothing but praise for her approachable and professional attitude at all times. Alex Irwin progressed the sale efficiently and kept me informed regularly and at all stages of the process. I only wish I had used Ewemove from the start instead of wasting 6 months using another well known York based Estate Agent!

We decided to go with Alex from Ewemove rather than other estate agents. She came to the valuation organised, knowing the current market and had knowledge and was able to answer all questions we had. Her communication throughout the process was extremely friendly and we felt that nothing was too much trouble. Once we had an offer right up till we completed Alex was there to answer questions and made us feel at ease. We would highly recommend Alex and Ewemove.

We found a gorgeous home being sold by EweMove that was presented really nicely online. They quickly responded to our request to view it, and booked us in with Alex. She showed us round and we felt very comfortable around her. A second viewing was booked in before we put an offer in. Alex answered all of our questions either instantly or having found out the answers. The office staff so far have been excellent to deal with and we look forward to getting the keys!
