I’ve worked with Elly and the team at Ewe move now for a few years. Hassle free management of a couple of properties and professionally handled the sale of a couple of others! Property tends to bring unwanted stress but Ewe move made it all so smooth. A breath of fresh air within the industry and their honest approach is telling for their 5* reputation! Would highly recommend to anyone! A smooth & fast house sale facilitated by the consummate professionalism of Alex B. She deserves a bonus for this one. It was not easy. In particular her suggesting the house to the producers of 'Location, Location, Location' was astute. Alex was calm, reliable & personable. We used EweMove York to sell our house and had a really positive experience throughout. Jonathan was professional, easy to deal with and kept everything moving during what can be a stressful process. Communication was always clear and we felt well informed from start to finish. The photos and video tour of the house were excellent, and Jonathan was proactive in following things up with both the buyer and solicitors when needed. Chloe and Alex at EweMove were amazing. I had my flat on the market with another agent for nearly 4 months and had only 1 viewing. Chloe took over and had 4 viewings in the first 2 weeks and luckily got an offer straight away. Unfortunately, later down the line, the buyer dropped out. Chloe put it back on the market, and within a week, we had 3 viewings and 2 offers, managing to sell it for a higher price than it was originally listed for. Alex was amazing throughout the selling stage, replying to emails within hours or even minutes, which helped reassure me if I had any doubts. Just completed my sale with Ewemove and highly recommend them. Chloe was brilliant throughout the whole process and I'm really glad I chose to go with them. The whole process is stressful enough and you need good people around to help things run as smoothly as possible. I had Karen for my viewing and everything leading to me renting this new house in York. I genuinely couldnt have asked for a kinder, more attentive estate agent. Karen walked me through every single step, responding nigh on immediately to every part. Not only that but when I moved in, Ewemove were kind enough to supply a gift box and a welcome card. My family and I can’t speak highly enough of Ewemove in York. The staff member that showed us round the property we purchased was extremely knowledgable and friendly. We left the viewing with one or two queries that he didn’t know the answer to but he rang us within an hour of leaving having found the answers out from the owner. After the viewing we dealt with the sales director Jodie Hoggarth who was also very friendly and knowledgable. Jodie was always available to speak to and was always quick when replying to us. We had some bad experiences with other estate agents in York but we can only speak highly of Ewemove and their staff members. If we ever look to sell this house Ewemove would be the first agency we would contact. The moving in hamper was also a lovely touch.

I have just completed a sale and Ewe move were the agency handling my purchase. From start to finish they were excellent. I was sceptical as they use a third party to help progress the sale but the system worked perfectly and made things more efficient. Alex Bethanis was my key contact and was always on hand to answer any questions that I had, and explain things in a way that was easy to understand. If I could give the team here less than 1 star I would. They seem friendly when you live in their property but as soon as you move out, they pick at every little thing possible and try to keep as much as possible. We had no issue with Elly but Karen made this very difficult, upset my wife and were't happy with the cleaning (even though we paid cleaners to go in and clean). Complaining about the washing machine drawer not being clean! Really?!?! Get a grip! Do not trust these people. All they want is money and if god forbid you move out and they don't have a new tennant already lined up, they will keep your money.

We have dealt with other estate agents within York and some have been disappointing and at times indifferent in their response Jodie was the first point of contact regarding our enquiry and it was refreshing to have a friendly and very thorough person dealing with our in initial flat requirements and were made to feel valued as a customer. He passed on this information to the colleague managing flat sales and Chloe contacted us within hours. We viewed a flat which was in a sought after area of York and met the requirements we had set out. Chloe greeted us on time and very obviously knew a lot about the area and the details of the property. She was very informative and knew the answers to the questions we asked and highlighted the particular high specifications of the flat. Fantastic experience with Ewe Move, both as a buyer and a seller. - Really friendly and attentive team. Great communication throughout the whole process. - Good background knowledge of the properties (we'd been to view some properties with other estate agents and it was as if it was their first time in the property!!!). - 360° tour of the property included on the listing. We found that this was great for transparency, particularly in respect of the size of the rooms and the condition of the house. - Flexibility in terms of viewing times. - Competitive fees. We dealt with Jodie (as a buyer), Chloe (as a seller) and Jonathan (for photos) and everyone was absolutely lovely. No pushy sales techniques, just honest advice and feedback, and realistic expectations given. I wouldn't hesitate to use Ewe Move again.
