I can't thank the Maghull Office in Merseyside enough for the help support and commitment the team provided throughout the purchase of my home. The knowledge, skills and abikity the team have is amazing, and although they are very busy, they always had time to help and assist. Communication was excellent throughout my purchase, to include excellent interpersonal skills that always made me feel reassured. The branch Manager Sarah and Georgia were totally amazing at their job and really lovely people. Sam, who was my financial advisor was truly both a lovely person and excellent at his job. Moving home is a stressful time, however. The team at Maghull helped me from start to end. I would highly recommend the team at Maghull to help with house sale,purchase or mortgages. I am writing this review as a buyer of a property through Entwistle Green. Although they were not acting for me as an agent, I was impressed by the Manageress who met me at a property I was interested in. My wife and I were shown around the property, following which we submitted an offer. Our first offer was declined but the second offer was accepted. Following the offer I had numerous questions about the property and its value, which the Manageress was able to answer and provide appropriate material to back up her responses. The surveyor used found the offer price a little over his estimation which resulted in the Manageress helping the seller and myself agree on a slightly lower offer. Despite being a long and slightly stressful process, I would like to extend my thanks to the Manageress of Entwistle Green for continually keeping me informed and ensuring a smooth process from start to completion.PositiveProfessionalism

Having met a few local estate agents to discuss selling our house we settled in Entwistle Green as from the outset they offered the most professional package, from valuation meeting to brochure production and the whole signing up process was very smooth and very professional. If I’m being honest which I have to be when giving a 5 star review I wouldn’t use the home video service again as I didn’t like the finished product as it concentrated on the area more than the house but that’s down to the production company more than the agent. The office manager Natalie and her team were in constant contact regarding viewings and ensured potential purchasers were in a position to complete. Feedback was always provided and Natalie made you believe you were the most important piece of the chain. I was so impressed with how they handled our sale We have instructed them on other properties already. I would highly recommend this branch the only thing to avoid is using countrywide conveyancing which is a totally different experience (google them on trust pilot) My experience of Entwistle Green Cleveleys and the whole team regarding selling our Hausa has been absolutely 5* and they are well worth the fee because you only get what you pay for especially when selling a home! Leave it to the experts.

So refreshing to deal with enthusiastic knowledgeable staff. Rachael was fantastic on the phone and left a great first impression. Poppy came to do the valuation and was really took time to discuss everything and again had the knowledge and was prepared fully. We recently asked Liam if we could view a property in Cleveleys and after apologising to say the property had been temporarily removed from the market he suggested we view another in a similar category. He suggested a convenient time and he duly met us at the property on the same day and showed us around. As soon as my wife and I entered the house we new it was the one for us and duly made an offer that was accepted. We had seen the house on line and for some unknown reason we dismissed it. Had it not been for Liam suggesting and going out of his way to make the viewing possible we might still be looking. Liam is as far as we are concerned a very professional young man who after negotiating the sale has kept us informed regarding ongoing events and is a credit to the company.

I previously left a good review for Entwistle Green because we were so happy with how quick and smooth the process initially seemed, but it has since turned into a complete disaster. We paid both the holding deposit and tenancy deposit for a property after being told everything had gone through, that the landlord had agreed, and that we were due to collect the keys on the 29th. They reassured us multiple times that there were no issues, even sending us information to set up our utility accounts. Based on this, we spent hundreds of pounds on furniture, Wi-Fi installation, and other essentials ready for move-in day. Then, the day before we were due to move in, we received a call saying the landlord had not signed the tenancy agreement and had pulled out, meaning the tenancy was never confirmed. This was completely shocking, especially as Entwistle Green had told us everything was approved. To make matters worse, we’ve since discovered that the same property is now listed again with another agent (Adore Property) at the same rental price, which makes us question whether the landlord truly pulled out or whether this was mishandled by Entwistle Green. Although they’ve agreed to refund our money, we have to wait nearly two weeks to get it back, leaving us unable to secure another property and out of pocket for cancellation fees. The entire experience has been incredibly stressful, inconvenient, and disappointing. Would not recommend using Entwistle Green, their lack of communication, internal errors, and failure to handle things professionally have caused us a huge amount of unnecessary hardship.

5 stars for the agency and Mrs Dora Seimeni in Warrington's Entwistle Green

I arrived in Warrington in January knowing nobody in the city. Searching a flat online did not help a lot. Walking by entwistle green i decided to enter and ask for more info! Luckily Mrs Dora Seimeni was there who was more than helpful. After she showed me some flats in the city, indecided to review one. Dora could not be more helpful really, she explained everything thoroughly and helped me understand how the bills work, how to accommodate etc. being totally new in the country knowing nothing, i m thankful that i found her. Entwistle Green as well was immediately next to me when something needed to be fixed in my flat! 5 stars, can’t recommend enough both the agency and my agent Dora.

Awful experience would not use again

Awful experience would not use again. I dealt with Gary Trappe at the Burnley branch. He valued our property for £15,000 more than it was sold for at auction where we had felt pressured to sell. Apart from the initial contact to sign the contract I never heard from him again even though he had been kept in the loop via email communication with the suction company - I am sold. It was particularly misleading and deceptive as we had signed a contract less than a month ago with him and there had been no mention of the valuation price changing and certainly not by that much. Either the valuation price had deliberately been set high to entice us or they hadn’t pushed the sale. We ended up making a loss of £15,000 using them and their auction company. They care about getting their fees paid and they really don’t care to make you the maximum from the sale. To that end they do the bare minimum. I would not use again because they don’t consider your best interest only their own.

I was selling a property with them and from the first viewings experience and either poor or clear lack of feedback, l had doubts this was not going to work well. They did not turn up for viewings and the potential buyers had to be escorted by the then tenant?!! After 9 months and reducing the offer price to below market for a quick sale, they found a buyer. Only for the buyer to pull out 8 weeks after agreeing the purchase of the property, as they had not been reassured and kept in contact with by Sales team at Entwistle. I only found out as l chased up with Entwistle and only then was l informed of the buyers decision! Absolute shambles from start to finish! I would not recommend EG from my own experience.

I recently had the pleasure of using Entwistle Green to find a new home. This is something you don’t often hear regarding estate agents who the public often slate. Entwistle are a refreshing change. Their staff are their biggest asset, friendly, upbeat, professional and above all efficient. I didn’t experience the usual hanging on the phone, and was proactively contacted. Sadly I was unable to find the dream home with them and had to purchase with another agent. That said I can certainly recommend them to prospective purchasers. Many thanks for a great service.

Absolutely shocking company to sell…

Absolutely shocking company to sell your house with, never keep you in the loop about your house and you have to constantly ring them for updates, tell you there’s nothing they can do to help boost your homes selling, and charged over £5,000 to sell the house as they don’t let you come out the contract as they put in the clause if you cancel and the house sells within 12 weeks they will still charge the £5,400 fee, disgusting company.
