I can’t recommend Warners Wymondham and in particular Sue, Debbie and Michaela enough. I have worked with many estate agents in the past who have been very lazy once the sale has been agreed, but the team at Warners have been absolute superstars from start to finish of my sale, chasing through the conveyancing, which was very challenging and slow, managing the chain and ensuring the sale didn’t fall through. Warners New Homes are the agents for the Bowsfield Development in Great Ellingham. I viewed the show home in April 2024 and decided to buy the 3 bedroom version. I returned in June 2024 to view the (nearly) finished house and made a commitment to purchase the property. I’m extremely disappointed with the way Warner’s Estate Agents have handled the valuation of my property. I asked Warner’s to value my house and was told it was worth £215,000. Just three days later, a new build company contacted Warner’s for a valuation as part of a part-exchange scheme, and suddenly the value they gave was £165,000, £175,000. That’s a difference of up to £50,000 in less than a week, with no changes to the property or the market in that time. It raises serious questions about how these valuations are being calculated and whether they are being adjusted to suit third parties involved in the transaction. As a homeowner, it’s incredibly frustrating to receive such wildly inconsistent figures from the same company in such a short space of time. It undermines trust and makes the process feel anything but transparent. I would strongly advise others to get multiple independent valuations and not rely solely on one estate agent’s assessment.
