Susie and the team went out of their way to help my son find and rent his first flat, working with us and the landlords to ensure everyone was comfortable. ⚠️ ⚠️ Very poor experience with Leaders regarding tenancy process. I paid a holding deposit for the property at 49 Chesham Close, BN12 4BJ and completed all referencing requirements within the required timeframe. This can be verified in the documentation and screenshots. I was initially given a proposed move-in date of 10th April. Later, this was verbally changed to 24th April, which I accepted. During this process, I was also asked to proceed with arranging insurance for the property, which I completed in good faith based on their instructions and ongoing confirmation that the tenancy was progressing. However, I was later informed that the landlord had proceeded with another tenant and the property was no longer available. This was communicated without any proper written explanation despite multiple requests. Communication has been very poor, calls were not properly responded to, and no formal clarification has been provided regarding how this situation occurred. Based on my experience, the handling of the process was unprofessional and caused significant stress, delay, and unnecessary costs.

Update: I have almost finished my tenancy with Leaders. We’ve had a lot of ups and a lot of downs but this review is to say the one person to truly help and understand my issues through this journey is Joanne Stakim. She’s gone out of her way to help us a number of times and she’s really been the only saving grace of renting with leaders. Leaders have made my move so so easy and always gave me peace of mind every step of the way, Jade is a legend and a true professional! Great service! I had almost lost any hope to find a rental property in Worthing but then I phoned Leaders and my bad luck turned around pretty quickly! Jade picked up my call, organized a viewing with less than 40 min notice and I ended up paying a holding deposit shortly after! I have to admit that Jade went above and beyond to arrange that viewing and in the weeks prior my moving, she has always reached out to me for any updates or to make sure I knew at which point paperwork/referencing was. All my queries were promptly answered and I received a very detailed report few days before moving in. Jade and her colleagues are very attentive and will make sure all the paperwork is completed on time. I was also welcome with a gift pack on the day of the key handover! I definitely recomment Leaders Worthing and Jade:)!

Many thanks to our most recent property manager, Rebecca Eager, who was our PM for around 18 months. She was friendly, helpful and efficient with passing things on to our landlord if necessary. We have recently had to leave our house of 10 years because the landlord sold up and Rebecca was also lovely and thoughtful throughout this process, as were all Leaders Worthing staff but especially Susie Wright (lettings) and Keyan Nadim (sales). We recently rented a property through Leaders after relocating with our two small children. It is a very difficult climate at the moment with very little on the rental market, but Leaders were one of only two estate agents who kept in regular contact and helped us to find a home. We dealt with Lucy, who was very friendly, open and approachable. the communication by the agency as a whole was excellent and they were flexible with viewings etc considering we were relocating with two small children. We recently used Leaders to find a new home for our family and they have been nothing short of amazing. The previous residents left us with a few things to get resolved but Rebecca has been brilliant. She has been extremely diligent in making sure that all the issues get looked at and resolved and it has eased the frustrations and stress massively and we now have somewhere we are pleased to call home.
