From my very first contact with them to moving into my new home, and even helping so quickly with the little teething issues afterwards. After a slow start, due possibly to the general election and subsequent sluggish market, we requested a refreshment of our sale which, Briscombes were happy to undertake. Within a matter of a few short weeks thereafter they secured a favourable sale on our behalf. We would have appreciated a pro active approach, in terms of communication, in the early stages as we hadn’t moved house in 40 years. However, once we got a buyer, the process was seamless and we managed to find a new house and move in just 10 weeks.

The best estate agents I have ever dealt with when renting. Briscombe served as the middle man between myself and a tricky landlord and they were always fighting my corner and chasing on any issues and getting them picked up and resolved quickly. The application process to obtain our flat was straightforward, they were punctual and always polite and friendly to deal with, whereas a lot of the time when a flats being advertised the company don’t get back to you. When it came to moving out, unlike previous companies they didn’t try and rip me off with charges during the inspection to get a few quid out my deposit, they were honest and reviewed my comments and the full deposit was returned. I also received this quicker than ever before, which was a matter of a few days. Thank you to Jan, Laura and Mya for all your help over the last year and will hopefully rent with Briscombe again in the future.
