Hi Sophie, I hope you are well. As a student letting agency, we have 4 weeks in between tenancies to complete a change in tenancies for over 950 rooms. Thats 950+ checkouts, 950+ cleaning reports, 950+ maintenance reports, 950+ key collections and 950+ inventories. This is all within a very short 4 week window alongside the usual day to day activities and responding to tenant enquires as best as possible. The reason why I feel like I need to explain above is to highlight why our usual response time is lacking during this very busy period. Due to this, we did email the student tenants pre check out with a helpful PDF that explained that our deposit returns will take between 10-30 days between this period. As of when this 1* review was written, it had only been 14 days. I can assure all tenants will be receiving a deposit email with either full return or any reasonable charges. (I believe for this property in concern, tenants will be receiving their deposit back on full less a small charge for a heavily overgrown garden. Awaiting gardening invoice). I do feel a public opinion of 'Money grabbers' is extremely unfair. Many thanks, Purple Cactus Properties
