The estate agent was on time to show us around the house, he appeared knowledgeable about the premises but did not apply pressure. We made an offer and due to the skills of the staff we managed to come to an agreement with the vendor. Buying a house is always stressful but their assistance made the first part bearable.

If you’re a seller and you’re footing the bill then I bet they’re fabulous. As a buyer though, we found them to be polite and attentive right up until our offer was accepted by the seller. Then they were reluctant to communicate with us. They were pushy at every point just after the offer was excepted trying to get us to use their mortgage broker and solicitors etc. We politely declined serveral times as we had our own mortgage sorted and solicitor, they probably realised they couldn’t make any money out of us, I’m sure this added to their change in demeanour. This was in April 2020 and I’m glad to say we have completed, yay! I’m happy I don’t have to talk with them anymore, it definitely took the sparkle out of buying our home. I certainly won’t be using them again either to buy or sell.I even had to create an account on trust pilot to share my experience with others as it was that stressful

FacebookI have Phoned this estate agents 3 times since yesterday eve,i also left a voice message for Amy. I have also E mailed , twice and a person working at the agents in Dorchester said they would E mail the letting agent for me to get back to me urgently about a property I was wanting to rent. Regardless ,no one has been in touch, I think it is dam well rude to not contact someone even IF you are not suitable for a property ( which I do not know??) to say either way. I would call it common courtesy to at leat call or e mail to reply.

FacebookWouldn’t recommend to anyone planning to rent!Me and my partner have been messed around by Meyers. We applied for a house in the broadway area and the estate agent advised us we’d got the property (well after 3 days of waiting for her to call back as she never answered her phone). Then we went through all the checks and forms to fill out regarding jobs ect... we was then told 4 different moving in dates by the estate agent. She first stated that property would be ready on the 31st of August then the 8th then the 10th then the 8th July. She also advised us this property came with no furniture as per the advert, which is what we was looking for, but when she sent though the forms for us to sign over it stated the property was furnished and when questioning her she didn’t seem to know what came with it and had to go and check with the landlord. Then after we’d both been accepted and payed a holding deposit for the house the landlord wanted to pull out due to him wanting to privately rent it. Obviously we wasn’t too happy as we’d planned to move in to this property and thought the holding deposit secured it. We have been fully refunded for this.I was looking through Facebook yesterday when I came across the property back on the marketplace and it said it was listed by meyers. When I questioned the estate agent she said the landlords tenant fell through within 2 days of us being told (which I can understand can happen) but I would have thought they would have given us first dibs as they’ve already completed all the paperwork for us to move in.

Polite, hardworking and friendly staff when dealing with them. We were buying a property and the only negative (having not bought a property in a long time) is what the process was with this estate agent. Felt a little lost at times. But on the whole great to deal with.

Set a good price which naturally pleased me and in the end obtained. Where as, some estate agents try to put a low price to get a quick sell. My issue was poor communication throughout which put me under great stress at the time. Lets hope this was a blip.

A very friendly service with staff who were pleasant to deal with. They worked well to procure a good price for our property. Once the sale had been agreed their communication as a ‘go between’ with us and the buyer was perhaps not as good as it should have been.
