Appalling service from management and sales teams. The sales team was very unresponsive and let the sale of my apartment drag on for months longer than they needed to be. The management team were also very poor and continue to bill me even though I moved out in July and have explained that. They claim this is completely out of their hands and were extremely rude and dismissive.

Dominic Simmons was the negotiator for the purchase of our home and he was amazing - always answers the phone or called back within minutes. His knowledge and ability to think on his feet and build a great rapport with everyone he meets made the buying process an absolute joy and did way more than the national agent we used. I would highly recommend Breckon and Breckon - especially Dominic.

GoogleWe had a great experience when buying one of B & B’s properties. Charlotte from the Woodstock branch was so helpful and great at keeping us up to date with necessary info. We also had a second viewing with a really lovely lady one Saturday - we didn’t catch her name but she was also very helpful and professional. Overall great experience during what can be a really stressful time.

GoogleMy worst experience in four years as tenant. It started with a viewing of 5 minutes ( by chance ? ) in fact she forgot to mention the total absence of mobile phone and the slowest internet broadband when on Rightmove reported the fibre optic instead and I couldn't watch the tv neither. The place is lovely but she simply should have been fair and let me know how things were. I am an impeccable tenant in the way I look after the property and on my payments and unfortunately I left the property 10 days ago and they didnt release my deposit back yet...where this arrogance come from!? Is there anyone in this agency who cares about tenants and respectful people ? Dreadful !!
Thank you for your review Roberto, although naturally we were disappointed to receive such a poor rating. This property is in fact not managed by us and the issue with deposit lies with your landlady. We also note that our agent had waited for 15 mins to accompany your viewing as you were lost. We in no way doubt that you were an impeccable tenant and have chased the landlady on your behalf over the deposit return but as I’m sure you can appreciate we are unable to make payment without her authority or confirmation from an adjudication should the deposit be formally disputed.

Property manager on holiday during check out. We’re just in the process of ending our tenancy and I thought it worth a second review because of how useless they have been, again. They never return phonecalls or messages. It takes weeks or even months to get anything fixed on the property. It took 3 months to get the double glazing fixed in the middle of winter. When we phoned about an issue with our back door lock we were threatened with a £99 lock smith charge if it was in any way our fault (we fixed the damaged key ourselves for £2.50 and then called them out for the lock issues). The process is so slow that we just bought the replacement blind for our sons room rather than wait any longer for Breckon (they took 2 weeks and we were being woken up at dawn every day). The main property manager went on holiday during the week of our check out with no one else being provided as a replacement contact and adding unnecessary delays to the return of our deposit.

GoogleI was dreading putting our house on the market. I kept putting it off because I couldn't bare the thought of dealing with viewings and estate agents! Breckon however, made the process easy. They were respectful to our home, their photography/videography team were amazing and kept us informed the whole way along. They called me from the car following each viewing to give me an immediate 'thoughts on how the viewing went' feedback and when we did have an offer guided us through our options. I would thoroughly recommend.

I’m not sure they could be more incompetent.We recently rented a property with them and there were so many things wrong with and broken in the property I lost count. Mould in the bathrooms had simply been re-painted or covered with sealant so it wasn’t immediately apparent but came back very quickly. Every time we reported a fault or a problem including many that were reported in the inventory, we had to provide photographic proof, chase them up to send someone to fix it. The contractor turned up not know what was wrong or incorrect information. They would only finally believe the evaluation the contractor made, again we were made to wait and had to follow up after the contractors visit. This meant every repair ended up taking weeks and we eventually just started fixing things ourselves. The property was unfit for small children but no warnings were given to us beforehand. I would struggle to find anything they actually fixed and did right the first time we asked for help.

They are efficient and quick to respond to any issues.My tenants are happy too with Breckon.Previously I used a big name agent in Headington who gave me one problem another another and were extremely slow at resolving their mistakes and inaction. The tenants were also very dissatisfied with this big name agent.
