All the estate agents I approached were helpful and professional but Mark at Woodleys gave the best valuation and I liked the idea of all viewings together. Within days of going on the market there were lots of viewings followed by lots of offers. I was able to choose a buyer ready to move quickly and with the addition of an efficient solicitor contracts were exchanged in what seemed like record time. Mark was knowledgeable and friendly, answering all queries and concerns straight away and ensured the sale was kept moving. I could not have asked for a better service and would recommend Mark and the team at Woodleys Estate Agent to anyone.

This estate agent is fantastic, we sold through them. Mike did our valuation and photos, he has years of experience and it was so nice to deal with someone who knows the industry inside out, we did have another agent round (from a different company) he was very young and did not fill me with confidence. We also dealt a lot with Billy, both agents were always on hand to deal with our queries, if we ever didn't get through, we left a message and our calls were returned promptly. We were always kept up to date with the progress of our sale, and they were always willing to help us with calls to solicitors/estate agent for our new purchase. Would highly recommend.

The service I received from Woodleys Estate Agents was fantastic from start to finish. Billy and his team are extremely professional. An offer on my house was received and accepted on the first day of viewings. There was a problem with the solicitor I instructed dragging its heels which was quickly and effectively dealt with by Gareth in the after sales team, keeping the conveyancing process moving in the right direction. We have had dealings with Woodleys Estate Agents over a number of years both selling and buying of properties, as well as renting. The service, communication and advice they have always given us has been excellent. In particular Mark, Mike and Gareth who were totally on top of negotiations and efficient in deputising for each other when required. All In all this company and its employees acted both professionally and honest with us at all times. They were a pleasure to work with and we can 100% recommend them. In addition we rented a property out through Woodleys with Aidan representing us, who likewise had very high professional standards and guided us through the whole process from advertising to selecting a tenant. Again we recommend this side of the business too. Mark, Mike, Gareth and Aiden are a credit to Woodleys and clearly showed integrity and professionalism throughout our dealings with them, but we also had a good many funny moments and laughter en route. We dealt with Woodley for both the sale of our house and the purchase of our new property. From the initial contact with the office to arrange a valuation we were impressed with their professionalism and efficiency. We really felt Mark was doing all he could in very difficult times to get the best for us; his advice was always open and honest and he was at the end of the phone whenever we needed him. We moved two months ago after as pleasant an experience as could be expected from a move that started in lockdown 1.0 and suffered from all the issues faced by the industry in the months that followed! Viewed a new built rental apartment with this estate agent. They said only one other person has viewed it and they have been declined. They said they will put our offer through to the landlord. We waited a fair amount of time until we were told that the landlord is on holiday. Despite the listing saying that the move-in date was asap, we waited quite a while for a response. Woodley Estates did not keep us informed of any updates of the landlord's situation. Finally, we received an email saying the landlord is happy with it and we can proceed with the deposit and tenancy agreement etc. We electronically signed the tenancy agreement and were going to pop in to the office to provide the original agreement too. Fast forward 1 week before moving in to the property, we received an email from Woodley Estates saying "the landlord has changed his mind and would like to sell the property because he didn't realise that he won't be able to claim VAT if he rents it out". This landlord owned all the apartments in that building therefore I find it very hard to believe that a "mistake" like this could have been made on such a big scale, and that too after taking our deposit, checking references, signing agreement. Do Woodley Estates not check their property owners before messing tenants about? Furthermore, we realised that Woodley Estates had been messing us about because we signed our agreement but there was no signature input from the landlord. Where is the protection for tenants in that case? We were devastated to find this out because we had already given a notice for our original place, our belongings were packed, we had booked the removal company etc and all Woodley Estates did on their part was offer us another property which was out of our budget. We had only 1 week to find another place to go and the company could not care less. I would not even give 1 star.

We just finished a property completion, and although I was the buyer, Mark Moffat from Woodleys Estate Agent was a charm to deal with. He passed on our every request to the vendors on time and never showed any displeasure from day one until the key handover. Mark was prompt in responding and always just a few minutes away via email if you need to contact. Additionally, he was always at the property if we wanted to speak with him. Mark does bring a refreshing change in the perception of estate agents.
