Huge thanks to Patrick at Lloyds Residential. My husband and I were downsizing after 30 years and moving to Loughton to be nearer our son and his family. We quickly found the perfect house for us and ‘sold’ our house immediately. Unfortunately after that the problems started with one of the links in the chain. At times I admit I was reduced to tears but Patrick’s calmness and reassurance kept me sane! He was always at the other end of the phone to answer queries and explain the intricacies involved in the process of moving. His hard work in keeping the sellers of the Loughton house on side despite all the delays meant we were able to purchase the house we really wanted. Lloyds aren’t yet as well known in Highams Park where we were selling our maisonette so hadn’t been on our radar, but so glad we went with them. Patrick and Sam each showed my partner and I around a property we were interested in purchasing, and this was what cinched the decision to list with Lloyds. They were head and shoulders above the other agents who showed us properties - knowledgeable about the house and clearly had good relationships with the vendors too. They secured us multiple offers over asking for our own sale, and in the weeks leading up to losing our buyer (nothing to do with EA), Patrick and I spoke almost daily as he tried to save the sale. When it did fall through, we were back on the market and under offer (at the same price as before) within 10 days. This sale went through, again with lots of support from Sam and Katie to keep the chain intact as we dealt with awful solicitors for our onward. I can definitely recommend Lloyds and really glad I trusted them with my sale.

Fantastic service from Lloyds Residential. Our house was sold within 10 days of contacting them! (It had previously been on the market for 3 months with only 2 viewings). Dan gave great advice about how to get lots of people viewing the property but wasn’t pushy as to what we should sell for. He dealt with everything from making the brochure to hosting the viewing day, whilst we went out for the day. He then recommended a solicitor who was equally on the ball.
