I have just completed on selling my house today in Winnersh. Throughout the process (not a straightforward one regarding my circumstances) I found Romans to be highly professional and approachable. My main contact was Ian Lewis. Ian has been more than an agent in my opinion. His methodical thinking and controlled approach went above and beyond just selling a house. Ian understood my needs and acted with pure grit and determination. His experience and ways to handle extreme situations got the result we both wanted. I would highly recommend Ian to anyone wishing to sell or buy a property. I wish him all the continued success for the future.

The consultants are very friendly and professional. I've interacted with two of them. Amanda picked up our query quickly, answered all our questions, came on time and prepared for the meeting/view.Another colleague called me in approx. two hours after receiving my question about a property accepting dogs. It is the first time I have interacted with the Agency, and I am impressed.

Shambles

Shambles 18 days and still we have not had our deposit back. We have now been told they will not be back until the 3rd Jan so will then be 29 days at least until they do anything. Over £1,000 owed and a young family of 5 just before Christmas Over 21 different letting managers in 10 years. They managed to lose the master keys for the property and we did a 312 mile round trip to deliver them back early so the landlord could get the house on the market faster and despite being told we would be reimbursed of course we have received/ heard nothing. Terrible company who are living up well to their cow boy image

Honestly the most horrific lettings…

Honestly the most horrific lettings company I think I've ever encountered. Left with no window in the kitchen for over a year . Another Unsafe window for 4 years.Water coming through my roof and into my living room for 4 years actually had to replace my lights and TV! Still to this day have water coming through the roof. Bathroom has no shower rail so water is literally rotting the floor and no sealant around the bath or working bath taps again ongoing for 4 years (since moving in ) keep promising it will be done but it never is . I've completely given up. they order contractors to quote it then do not get back to the contractors . Countless days taken off work to accommodate countless quotes none of which in 4 years have actually been told to complete the works . Currently sat with the sound of dripping water into a saucepan . They simply do not care . I don't leave reviews often but I would seriously avoid renting with this company they really really will leave you with a complete state of disrepair and nowhere to go and noone that will fix the issue . Four Years of literal water coming Into the living room. They have cost me so much money avoid.

Amazing Service from the Staines branch

We received an amazing service from Yas, Jon and Ammar who dealt with our property purchase. They were very professional,ready to help and were able to update us with what was going on with the other side. As first time buyers, property buying can be a very daunting process. At the latter part of the process,Ammar too over the purchasing. He was always available to help, he explained the process, which questions we needed to ask our solicitors and explained all jargons used.They went above and beyond to make sure our purchase was completed in time. Ok they got me a tenant

Ok they got me a tenant, that's the easy bit ! With a whole load of admin and service errors and issues I can only give them 2 stars. Think the problem is there are too many people in the process and you get moved to another new person at each stage of the letting out process. However, each person in the chain has not done the job properly. I am unable to recommend Roman's and once the tenancy is over I will move to another agent.

Unpleasant experience with Fleet…

Unpleasant experience with Fleet branch, placed an offer and was accepted, aware this wad subjected to the seller finding new place. Sales there are more interested in referral fee for solicitor, survey, asking me why I didn't proceed the survey after offer being accepted. No buying property experience before, I quickly arranged my surveyor to do the survey and thought this will proceed further. Came back to me legal process will not happen after seller find the new place. Have been asking for the update time and time, no more update and I have to search another property. Waste my £650 for the survey, totally unprofessional.
