GoogleMartin and pole tries every possible way to maliciously deduct the deposit. They makes the tenants bear the problems that already existed in the house before they moved in when they check out and deducts the deposit under various pretexts. Even if the house is cleaner when they check out than when they moved in, it still finds all kinds of reasons to deduct the deposit. Please avoid this agency when renting a house.

GoogleWe had some property viewings cancelled by a different estate agent, and ended up having committed to a 4 hour round trip to Wokingham in order to see only one property that had already had an offer put in. When I called Martin & Pole, they arranged for us to see a property within half an hour that almost perfectly matched what we were looking for, and were professional, knowledgeable and helpful every step of the way. Highly recommend.

GoogleI bought my new house with the help of Giles from Martin & Pole in Wokingham. My house purchase went smoothly but my sale using another agent was more challenging. All the staff at M&P were very helpful and professional throughout and successfully kept the vendors of my new house happy whilst my own sale went through. I don't think M&P are as cutthroat as many other estate agents, they were honest about progress throughout, communication was excellent and I would be more than happy to work with them again.

GoogleDo not use Martin and Pole for surveys. A home buyers report will cost you more than £500 but tells you very little other than the decorative state of the house. Mine did report several issues in the roof but they all turned out to be not correct, after I had to investigate them, due to poor knowledge by the so called professional surveyor. Save your money and just get a valuation report if needed. If you do pay out you may want to try elsewhere as Martin and Pole will not admit to any mistakes that they make.. You have been warned.

GoogleI purchased a house in Wokingham and Martin & Pole dealt with the sale. Personally I cannot fault them. They seemed like real gentlemen to deal with; always very polite, professional and helpful. Overall a good experience with this eatate agency from a buyers perspective.
