As a first-time buyer, I was quite nervous going into the process, but I truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the very beginning, Annie was amazing, so supportive, reassuring, and always checking in to keep me updated. Buying a home can be incredibly stressful, but she made everything feel so much smoother and more manageable. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and she was always there to answer questions, offer guidance, and put my mind at ease. I felt genuinely supported every step of the way, which made such a difference. I honestly have no complaints at all and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her, and Bairstow Eves in general to anyone, especially first-time buyers. Thank you so much for making what could have been a stressful experience such a positive and exciting one!

Jordan was wonderful to work alongside for the sale of our existing property and purchase of a new property. I have just returned home from seeing the manager, face to face, as I wanted some answers, but I didn’t get anything! Not even some display of remorse or apology of what has occurred. Just like the vendors, the manager has no respect towards me or my partner. To just increase the price of the property without actually giving us the opportunity to increase our offer and allowing us to make the decision to withdraw and lose money invested so far. I am utterly dumb struck at how an estate manager would not even attempt to discuss with the vendors and encourage them to have an open discussion with us about the situation. But no! Just to see the house reposted on Rightmove at a higher price! Is this not just disgusting, disrespectful, thoughtless, rude, insulting and completely degrading? We were asked for ‘transparency’ from the vendors and we’ve displayed nothing but. Everything was governed and controlled by them. We were so obliging and now they decide to increase the price, 6 weeks down the line! The state and smell of Barstow Eves premises in Witham demonstrates everything about the way they behave!

A team that will truly give their all and go above and beyond for you: Particular props go to both Jordan and Nick for not only the help and support they gave us, but for picking up the slack/carrying the weight of issues caused by another agency up the chain - Jordan and Nick are superheroes! From stage one, Jordan was lovely and informative during the viewing, and she was magnificent during the offer/final offer stages; I daresay my other half and I wouldn't have got the property without her support - definitely recommend for first time buyers! And in the time beyond/up to the completion (tomorrow!), she has been a helpful and active agent for us; her positivity is infectious! Through no fault of Bairstow Eves, we had quite a few nightmares along the way, but Nick and Jordan kept us up-to-date, pushed hard on the chain above, and made the impossible happen. DISCLAIMER/ADVICE: Bairstow Eves are magnificent, but I wouldn't recommend the Countrywide Conveyancing Service (I believe they may be a part of the same group, but not sure)/I would recommend using a different conveyance service. There are many great things about Countrywide, but ultimately a few significant blunders their side almost collapsed the sale, and you could potentially find yourselves having to do as we did, which is jumping through hoops and pushing hard to get things done. I won't speak more of Countrywide though. This review is more to recommend Bairstow! Conclusion: - Absolutely wholeheartedly recommend Bairstow Eves Witham - Jordan is a saint and goes above and beyond what is expected of an agent - Nick is a spectacular manager that tells you how it is and gets results. - (Perhaps don't use Countrywide Conveyancing though)

Nick and the team at Bairstow Eves were fantastic. We were part of a complex chain and they were supportive and pro-active throughout. Our house was sold V quickly and the service from start to finish was excellent. I really never knew how much Estate Agents needed to know and do to support a chain through a sale but I do not believe our purchase would have been achieved if it wasn't for the exceptional service we received every stage of the way. I would highly recommend. We also used their Solicitors for our purchase and Sale and again, they were superb.

We placed our property for sale with Bairstow Eves in 2020. We had a tricky property to sell which required excellent marketing. I can honestly say Bairstow did everything they could during the process to introduce the right people to us and we successfully found a buyer in August 2021. I predominantly dealt with Jordan throughout the process and I couldn’t have wished for better service. Not only did she provide regular updates but she gave us invaluable advice and guidance on the sale process and finding another property as well as actively searching for us even though we were looking outside of the area. I asked the team to “hold my hand”whilst selling my house and technically they did all the way through ... having seen my dream house and nervously ringing Bairstow Eves in Witham , the phone was answered by Jordan, whom in that instant, took her time to listen , give me confidence, and be professional in her job to set me out on my journey. Nick valued the property realistically meaning a quick sale and no time wasting in ‘trying’ a higher price and then having to reduce at a later stage. Bairstow Eves are a great team. Within half an hour of requesting a valuation I received a personal message from Jordan, who has been a joy to deal with throughout. The valuation visit was arranged quickly and everything has been low pressure and low stress. Viewings were grouped where possible to keep disruption to a minimum, and every contact with Jordan and Gemma was friendly and professional. Regular updates from Nick have been valuable, and feedback has been hopeful, honest and realistic. The whole team are invested in the area and in our story and ambitions.
