TrustpilotGhastly obnoxious builder-stay away or get burnt
This company's CEO will be in jail soon-the officers of the company tried to bribe us to offer positive feedback in the HBF/ NHBC survey which we refused. Their star ratings are abysmally low and this metric sets the criteria for customers buying from a particular builder. The matter is being escalated to the Serious Fraud Office.

Totally awful. Unfinished house. Major problems like multiple floods. Moved out twice into temporary accommodation for them to fix. 2.5 years of fighting with customer service to get it all sorted and that was after being forced to pay for surveyors and structural engineer etc. Unethical immoral company who really don't give two hoots about their customers.

One star is too good for this company, the quality of the work is so poor it makes me challenge if this was done by qualified works, I don’t think so. So when contacting customer services I get no where what a surprise. If your thinking of buying a Bovis Home check every thing

Bought a Bovis home 18-months ago. Still waiting on my snagging list to be completed and the promised landscaping in front of my property has not even been started, even though I was told it would have been done before Christmas last year. On a positive note it is a lovely location and neighbours are great.

Most of them are uneducated and very disrespectful! They will scam you as they scammed us and others. Read their reviews and think 10 times before purchasing with this company.

Utterly despicable. They sell leases on once they have your money. To e and j estates. So my nice new house now has a nasty new MONETISING lease landlord. Thank you bovis: for making contact with you virtually impossible, and for ignoring my emails. PLEASE POLITICIANS deal with this massive injustice in the law.

Poor quality workmanship. Appear Bovis have no incentive to provide an acceptable level of house build once they have your money. Almost a year after purchase and still so many unresolved problems. The nightmare never ends! Based on my own experience I would strongly advise against buying a new build with this company.

Shocking building company. 3 years after moving in my home still isnt finished. They play games to avoid carrying out various repairs. This company takes peoples money and runs a mile. My house needs around 5K spending on it to make it the home it should of been.Stay well clear of bovis homes

Terrible quality finishes. Poor customer service. Underhand tactics to try to get you to give up on chasing up work that needs doing. Inability to offer compensation when you clearly are due it. Some of the slimiest humans at the end of the phone and email to contest with. Avoid this builder.

Absolutely a dreadful company. If you are looking to buy a new build walk away. The quality and good workmanship are totally non existant. I can honestly say in all my life I have never seen anything quite like it. If I could have scored 0 I would have. Run a mile!!

Bovis Homes have used Local Estate Agents to sell their properties. We are a local Independent and still 2 months after completion haven’t been paid. Appalling company and the most unprofessional company we have dealt with in 8yrs. Pray their after care for their buyers isn’t the same.

Like the house but roads, paths and landscaping unfinished. Bovis are now off the site and do not answer emails, letters or deal with phone calls. When will our estate be finished. Terrible customer service. Seems all they were interested in was selling the houses. Somerford. Congleton. Cheshire

Not at all what I would call good build . Lots of issues , dpc breached , faulty plumbing , water leaks , cracks in all the plasterboard joints ,suspect electrical ,bad brickwork , toilets that don’t flush , leaks in the roof . Non existent customer service

If I could give no stars I would! Shockingly bad finish to both the house and the estate as a whole. Very poor customer care all the way up to Area Manager level. Do not buy a Bovis/ Vistry Home.

Horrendous build quality. Lots of problems that have never been resolved. Customer care was very poor and caused lots of stress for us. Many people on our site have been moved out of there homes due to problems. Would never recommend buying a Bovis home to anyone.
