We had a fantastic experience with Bricks & Mortar in Wirksworth during our recent house move. Rhonda in particular was brilliant throughout, friendly, helpful, responsive and always happy to chase things up or answer any questions we had. Moving house can be stressful, but Rhonda made the whole process feel much easier and was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. Bricks+Mortar have been amazing with both the sale of my property and support with my onward purchase that they were also managing. We can’t thank Bricks and Mortar enough for the professional and personal way they listed and sold our home. The whole process was quick and easy. I contacted them for a valuation and Carl came prepared with local Information and sale prices to give an indication of value. His valuation was was far more competitive than other estate agents. We instructed Carl to post our property and within a week he had arranged for it to be photographed and posted, which led to it selling within 24 hours. Throughout the sale process, Su and Rhonda were on hand to help with questions and ensure the sale went through smoothly. Thank you all for your support during the sale. From the very first day that I met Carl, when he came to value my house in Wirksworth, I felt I was in very capable and friendly hands. As I had not sold or bought a house for many years, Carl explained everything to me and kept it all very simple for me to understand how the whole procedure would work, keeping me informed every step of the way. Explaining too, the different ways in which my house could be sold. A traditional way with a percentage fee of sale at the end, or an upfront fee, with nothing else to pay once the sale goes through. I chose the later and I couldn't have made a better choice. Having chose this option, because I had some unexpected issues with where I was wanting to move to, as well as some family health issues along the way, I was able to take my house off the market, and then remarket it, at no extra cost to myself. This happened on two occasions, over a year or so, but with having the upfront fee already paid, requesting to put my house back on the market was an absolute breeze. Just a quick email of confirmation and there I was, back on the market in a jiffy. As for Carl's very efficient, and very friendly team, they also took care of all the viewings for me too. Keeping me informed regularly with how my house was performing and offering new ways and social media outlets, to really actively market my house in a highly visual way. (All a little beyond me to be honest as I am not really that familiar with all this social media thing, but it certainly seems to give your property a higher chance of being put out their to the folks that use this social media thing).... Sorry showing my age a bit here!! With Bricks and Mortar in Wirksworth, I never once felt like I was dealing with a commercial business, it felt like I was dealing with a very helpful family, who were there to support me all the way from valuation to the final sale. Some people are of the view, that if you use these pay up front schemes, that you dont always get a full attentive service. Well for all you doubting Thomas's out there, from my experience, this is definitely NOT, the case. I was kept informed of viewings, feedback and enquiries about my property, in super quick time, so I would never hesitate to highly recommend Carl and his fabulous team at Bricks and Mortar in Wirksworth, to anyone who is looking for a friendly local company who will look after you (and your property), and not only go that extra mile to alleviate some of the stress associated with buying and selling houses, but become your friends along the way... They took care of everything for me and I am so grateful for their great, personal approach to selling houses. I certainly felt like I was valued, not only as a customer but as a friend too. From coming to look at the property until the day of the removal the staff at Bricks & Mortar were SO helpful & very efficient. The photographs taken of our home were excellent as was the description. Whenever I phoned with a question Susan or Phoebe were quick to answer or to get back to me as soon as possible. From day one meeting Carl to the final day, picking up my keys, Rhonda, Carl, Su and Oscar have all been brilliant, thoughtful, considered, professional and above all kind. I was selling in difficult circumstances but from the outset they were superb. The quality of the photography by Vanessa and the advice from Carl about going to market meant the moment viewings started I had offers. The teams’ understanding of who they were sending, their buying position and where their respective sales were, made accepting an offer far easier and the house quickly went through to a successful sale. We would recommend Bricks and Mortar and would use them again. The cost was great and the photographs/write up used for marketing were excellent. They were accessible throughout the viewing process and responded quickly when we wanted to discuss price and marketing adjustments and actioned these quickly. Once the sale was agreed we were allocated a named member of the team for sales progression who was very pleasant and helpful. Earlier in the sales process they were not as proactive as we might have liked but were amazing in the final few weeks and days when things became more complex and helped us get the sale across the line.

Carl and Abby were fantastic throughout. We were considering not using a high street estate agent, but after Carl came to visit us at the property we were certain he and Bricks + Mortar would do an excellent job, with very reasonable prices too. What we didn't expect, however, was the amazing service we received from Abby once we started having viewings. We had accepted an offer within a week (unfortunately this was just before the fated 'mini budget' and it fell through). However, Abby found a new buyer before it even went back on the market. She followed up every week, and was a really good line of communication when there was confusion with time delays etc. She made a fairly stressful transaction much less stressful. I'd fully recommend Bricks + Mortar for their professionalism, human communication, great photos and calm yet efficient manner. Thank you :-)
