WORST AFTERCARE EVER

If I could write no stars that would be more appropriate, shame really because the House is nice but customer service is absolutely pathetic. Once the builders left the estate and roads have been left unfinished and many houses on our group chat have issues that not being attended to in lines with our aftercare 2 year policy. Sales were great but of course they would be wouldn't they. Once you are in they really aren't interested. They blatantly ignore emails and THEY DO NOT ANSWER THE CUSTOMER SERVICE HELPLINE. We have a car charger which we want to use but has power issue, sent two emails and rang helpline endlessly but NO PERSON ANSWERS HELPLINE. SO frustrating. Be warned great to start with but when builders move away say goodbye to any TILIA aftercare because they are not interested......

After moving into a Tilia property in April 2026, I was shocked to see the amount of snags there were ! I was lucky enough to of had a visit from Brian Aldridge, Customer Service Operative from Tilia Homes, who was helpful and understanding, he listened to my issues, was reassuring with what needed doing and started to put things into place straight away ! Delighted with my new home

Delighted with my new home! Michelle was great, showing me round the show home, sorting incentives where possible and dealing with the purchase process. Claire was proactively on top of post-completion care and arranging fixes for any snags. Tom was on top of getting carpenters, painters and surface care specialists in to complete snagging. The whole team worked very well to ensure a high-quality home was delivered.

I would like to extend a big thank you to Simon at Tilia Homes in Kiln/Elms Woolpit. I had a fantastic experience purchasing my new home. From the very beginning, Simon was highly professional and dedicated to helping me secure my dream home. He guided me through the mortgage process and referred me to an excellent mortgage broker who assisted me in obtaining my mortgage. The legal team Simon recommended was efficient and quick with the conveyancing aspect of the purchase. He closely monitored the home-buying process, enabling me to move in within a two-month timeframe. Excellent Property and Services at Reasonable Price

Donna was patient and walked me through the whole acquisition process. I was a First-Time buyer. She had in-depth industry knowledge and suggested to me multiple ways of handling various complicated issues I faced. She offered me extra support by answering many questions I had promptly all the time. Donna was responsible, thoughtful and helpful. She always thought from the customer's perspective. She took time in processing my customisation requests and ensured that everything was added accurately and to the highest quality possible. Very Bad service

Very Bad service, cannot fix the issue with my stairs creaking in new home. I sent email to customer care Eastern office but no revert, on calling Hannah said we are very busy and will come back to you, but no response yet even sending multiple reminders. How can you are so busy that do not have time to read the email of customer, that is the job of Customer care team. This is after someone senior visited our house and said he will report to fix it. Issue was raised many months back.

The whole process of buying my first property

The whole process of buying my first property with Tilia home went smoothly than expected. The staff was exceptional, particularly Donna with all her support and explanations made all my prejudices about new buildings go away. Stewart Sellers from Tilia Homes has been over to our property multiple times over the last 2 years for snagging work. Stewart was always very polite and friendly always happy to talk but listen too! All work that has been completed has been completed to a very high standard, super clean! He always leaves the house very tidy and is respectful of our space! I’m in the process of buying a house with Hopkins/Tillia and the customer service received so far has been outstanding from both Helen and Megan. Megan in particular has kept me updated and been very supportive on what has been a stressful time with issues with my chain. The Avenue, Wingerworth.

Very pleased with our new house on The Avenue, and the whole experience to get here. There were some delays in completion, but all Tilia staff were good communicators and kept us informed. I can only say that from our perspective it was a professional and caring service from day 1. Early days with the property but it's a high standard of finish and very spacious, as well as a striking design.

Shocking communication and delays

My partner and I reserved a house in July 2025 due for completion in Spring 2026. We were provided with very little updates and not even informed when the sales contact we had left and her inbox was not being monitored. Massive delays without any reasons given. By Spring 2026 the house hadn't even started to be built. In June 2026 we were told it was finally going on to the build plan for completion in Winter 2026! When we reserved we were told that we could part exchange and at every update we did get we were assured that was still the case, until it came to it going on the build plan when they suddenly turned around and told us we couldn't part exchange! Shocking communication and delays. Needless to say we purchased with another builder.
