Dear Nick, Thank you for your feedback. Your property manager explained your understandable frustration to me. You had a professional clean of your own at end of tenancy and further cleaning was still needed to return the property to the condition it was let in. We use independent clerks to inspect at start and end of tenancies. This is best practice to ensure impartiality. The clerk from CP Inventories, checking out at your property, reported as below in the checkout report that we sent, with photographs; General Condition Of Property: The property does appear to have been cleaned in some areas in advance of exit. However, sticky marks, pet hair, scuffs and marks are generally present. The radiators throughout the property have small chips present. Pet hair is visible to most skirting boards, thresholds and to the washing machine drum. The kickboards to the Kitchen are detaching in places and are heavily marked. The kitchen units are marked. The property would now benefit from further professional cleaning in order to return to the same cleanliness level as noted at inventory., , , , , , Given the above, we had to engage cleaners after your own, to ensure that the property was fully cleaned to professional standard as per the inventory from the start of the tenancy.
