Started looking at potentially buying a property however wasn’t sure on where to start. Tried using Google and read articles etc however I wasn’t finding it helpful. I like local to park gate so though I might aswell call up a local estate agents and see if anyone could give advice and have a chat about it. Spoke to a lady called Lauren who was very knowledgeable and friendly, she explained how everything works when buying a property and even suggested a few properties to look at on the website! However circumstances have changed and I won’t be buying at this current time, however when I do I’ll be heading to beals! Thank you for all the help!

Trustpilot5 months & £1,500 wasted! Le Marechal, Bursledon
We were due to exchange on our purchase of the 3 bed detached property in Le Marechal Avenue, Bursledon this week. However, after 5 months of waiting and after spending thousands of pounds on searches, enquiry and mortgage fees, the vendor has now decided to increase the price by £15,000. Beals phoned me yesterday to tell me the news and after telling the agent we could not afford the increase, they decided to put it back on the market immediately. It is extremely unethical of Beals to continue to collaborate with this vendor after they completely messed up our sale and purchase just weeks before we were due to move. We have financially and emotionally suffered because of this vendor and I am utterly flabbergasted that Beals are encouraging this sort of behaviour. Incredibly poor service, unreliable, unethical and untrustworthy. The property has already fallen through twice and the vendor has increased the price both times. I wouldn’t recommend viewing or putting an offer on this property because it is reasonably foreseeable that the same thing will happen again.

I moved into my home today and she made sure I was comfortable with everything and gave me all the information I needed. Our original flat property management company was Harcourts and we received an excellant service. However, when Harcourts merged with Beals in Whiteley the service we received has been non existant. Two of the residents were in management fee arrears and Beals did nothing to retrieve the debt. The Health and Safety inspection didn't happen. Overpriced contractors who did not keep to their side of the contract. We now manage the block ourselves and saving in excess of £1000 a year. Need I say more.
