What a thoroughly professional Agent! I had the pleasure to deal with Annie, she was extremely personable yet highly efficient and very professional at all times.. Due to this, the whole experience proceeded smoothly and it was an absolute pleasure to deal with her throughout. Nothing was ever too much trouble and she guided me through the lease process displaying both patience and kindness throughout. I had heard from others in the past that Symonds and Sampson are an excellent company to deal with and now having dealt with them personally - I would 100% agree. I have recently moved into a house sold to me via Neal Wilson of Symonds & Sampson. Neal went out of his way to accommodate my move so it could be as smooth as possible. He is calm, polite, congenial and supremely effective in his dealings with all concerned and he will be my first port of call should I ever move again. I would say of all the estate agents I have ever used, he is far and away the best, exceptionally good at his job and I can't recommend him highly enough!

The Dorchester team of Stuart, Rebecca, and Michelle recently sold my cottage in Martinstown. Initial contact with Stuart was friendly with very knowledgeable advice on the market locally and tips on presentation. Very professional standards - viewings were always well organised and well communicated by others in the team, with feedback arriving shortly after each viewing. We did review and reduce the price after the initial viewings and feedback, and this brought forward a really good buyer, and the sale proceeded without hitch. Realistic sale price, realistic buyer. Very poor experience dealing with this agency. I contacted them with a polite and professional enquiry about a vacant commercial unit. The reply from Jan Merriott was blunt, simply stating the property was under offer, with no greeting or proper engagement. I followed up to express that I’d still be interested if the current deal fell through, and his second reply was sarcastic and dismissive: “OK, I’ll let you know if it falls through.” Maybe he was having a bad day, but that doesn’t excuse treating potential customers with such an arrogant and unprofessional attitude. That kind of reply really killed my mood, it left me feeling dismissed and disrespected for no reason. I expected much better from someone working in commercial real estate. Based on this experience, I wouldn’t recommend dealing with this agency at all.

Professional, courteous and super organised and knowledgeable. it wasn't just our sale which he helped us on but advising on the place we wanted to move to. I would send him links on rightmove and he would quickly fire back advice and recommendations! Was great having an expert like him so willing to help. S&S have a really country-style and classy feel, and I'm really surprised more people in our area don't sell their houses with them!
