Meyers did an excellent job of marketing our home, and midwifing the sale all the way through to completion, notwithstanding difficult buyers and solicitors. As we live Down Under, time zones can be a challenge for this sort of thing, but Jamie was great at keeping in touch. I have no hesitation in recommending Meyers and particularly if you are an overseas seller.

Professional Proactive Estate Agent

We made the right decision to sell with Meyers. We dealt with Tom Bell in the Dorchester (Poundbury) office. What I liked about Meyers was that your house was always shown by the same person on each occasion. Thus they knew the house and could answer the buyers questions. Tom also proved to be a good negotiator. I would definitely recommend using Meyers.

I was very impressed with Meyers

I was very impressed with Meyers, they are bright, intelligent folk with excellent interpersonal skills, good business brains and efficient, effective methods. A pleasant change from the usual estate agents...

I've generally found the process of renting unnecessarily complicated in the past so it was a nice and surprising change to find somewhere to rent through Meyers. The whole process was done with minimal hassle and any queries that I had were quickly and directly answered, all with a friendly and professional service. A big thank you to Amy who was a significant part of this. Becky is amazing, I viewed several properties that weren't quite right for me and found one I abosultely fell in love with. Unfortunately I didn't get the flat but she kept me in mind when another one came up in the area! I got the flat opposite which is amazing, I loved it from day 1 and I now get to live here yay! Becky was in contact from day 1, when ever I had a question she responded as soon as she could. I felt supported through the whole journey and feel blessed to have such a kind and helpful person to support me through my biggest purchase ever! After a disappointing experience trying to sell our property with another established high street agent. We noticed Meyers sold signs regularly appearing, so gave them a call and met Becky, very professional, honest and the package she provided made you feel you were her priority from beginning to end, and she did exactly that! Within a week we had accepted an offer! Her help with constant correspondence with the solicitor’s, the other vendor and her marketing strategy were key. Always in touch and responded promptly to any call or message. We can’t recommend Becky enough, and would not hesitate to use her in the future.

We originally went with another well known agent G******, but they were unable to get the people in to view our property. We lived on a hill and was reassured the company would tell the potential buyers this, but we would then get a call on the day to say the buyers had looked around the area and they didn’t like the hill, so we ended up aborting selling the property. Later in the year we contacted Becky at Meyers and straight away felt at ease. We told her our concerns with the previous agents and she informed us she would not bring anyone around unless they looked at the hill. we definitely felt looked after by Becky. Within a week we had a handful of people through the door and by week 2 we had an offer. Sadly this fell through quickly due to finance from the buyers side, but Becky got on it again and found us a buyer within a week and had a lot of viewings. The previous company had us for 6 weeks, we had less viewings from them and no offers, so Becky is clearly doing something different that works. She was in contact with us at every stage (better than our Solicitor was) and reassured us when things weren't going quick enough. We would highly recommend Becky, she was warm, friendly and attentive to our needs and concerns. Thank you Becky.

Great service

Initial phone conversations with Meyers have been polite and constructive. I had to leave a message but was phoned back later. Meeting the agent at the property was relaxed and friendly with a suitable amount of information provided. There was no printed detail of the sale offered. The agent did not have a ladder to look into the loft, nor did he have a key to the garage. However, we were not rushed and felt our comments were listened to. Paper work that followed via email, was clear and prompt and made us feel things were progressing. We are very pleased with the service we received.

AN ABSOLUTE MUST if you are looking for an estate agent in the Purbeck area. From our very first phone call it was clear that Richard and Claire offer a service that is far above and beyond any other estate agency in the area. Richard came to value our property within a week of our phone call. He was very professional, well prepped and had an extensive knowledge of our area. He had none of the sleaze or smarminess we experienced with other estate agents who also valued our property.His valuation was realistic and at a price we agreed together and one that meant our house was sold at the asking price. After our initial meeting, our house was on the market within a week and sold within 6 weeks.From that point on, we had constant updates from Claire. Who I can honestly say, is one of the most competent, diligent, hardworking and down to earth people who I have ever dealt with. It was as if we had become an extended part of her family and she made us feel cared for throughout our whole experience. She phoned us on a weekly basis to update us before we sold. She talked us through each and every step of the whole process and gave us contacts for solicitors, removals and even the local handyman to fix a missing tile on our roof. She then showed what an amazing work ethic she had after we sold. The solicitors we had to deal with in order to complete our chain were the most difficult part of the process. Without Claire there is no chance that our sale would have been completed. Claire went above and beyond, she dealt with all the other estate agents in the chain, she spoke to the solicitors personally and when they didn't respond she spoke to their superiors and even got to the company director at one point.My wife and I have always considered good will to be the biggest and most important quality of any person in their job! Without doubt, the good will Claire showed us, with the amount of hours she put into our move, was like none we have ever experienced before and it is unlikely we will see again.Even on completion day, Claire was constantly on the end of the phone, hurrying and hastling the solicitors and other estate agents to get the deal done. We can not recommend her, Richard and Meyers of Wool highly enough. There were NO NEGATIVES about their service at all and they made our experience of moving house so much better because of their hard work and INCREDIBLE GOOD WILL. If we were to move again (We have no intention of that, as they also helped us to find the perfect house) They would be the first and only people we would go to.If you have got to the end of this review, then there is no need to look any further as my wife and I can 100% guarantee that you won't be disappointed if you choose Richard and Claire to look after your house move.
