GoogleI purchased our 4 bed detached Burnham home 8 months ago and it was by far the best decision I’ve made. The size of the house is very good value for money. I know a fair bit about houses and building and have found overall the house to be of fair standard, very well insulated, which keeps the house warm and fairly cool in summer. All of the site staff (especially Kev, Shane and John) went above and beyond to help me with anything they could when we moved in and continued for the first few months. I’d recommend to friends.

GoogleIf I could leave negative stars I would - 1 star is too high to give.
We purchased our house 3.5 years ago and ever since then we have been fighting for issues to be fixed and they keep palming us off either saying it's our fault or marking issues as complete when they are not, just because they don't want to rectify their shoddy work!! The houses are awful and we have so many wonky walls that I think a 5yr old could do a better job! Will never buy a Persimmon home again, worst costly mistake we could have made

GoogleWent to visit some friends and was pleasantly surprised to find the development is almost complete now. And the houses do not look bad at all. Our friends who have bought do not have any serious complaints apart from regular snagging issues. And I heard the complaint management process has improved and turnaround time is a bit sooner.
Lots of green areas and there's a primary school on site. No shopping mall or stores though.

GoogleThe houses are put up fast but plenty of people report issues, not just snagging and general build quality but also major issues such as walls not being bolted down, mould, brick work needing to be redone etc. Persimmon are very charming when buying a house but ignore you when you need snagging or major issues to be fixed (due to the poor build quality). Some people on the estate have been waiting 3 years for simple fixes. The kid’s playground is still not open after 5 years of being started! Over winter a lot of people’s boilers broke despite most of these houses being less than a year old. This is poor build quality using the cheapest contractors and materials. Avoid!
