Very pleasant staff in the office, and communications mostly very good. Ours was an easy sell, so not particularly onerous for RMS. Good advice given re finalising offers. Agents please take care to shut doors/windows/reset alarms after viewings. And it was a good job I checked the figures on completion, as RMS had not deducted the cost of our probate valuation, as promised. Quickly rectified - once pointed out.

West denton branch have been brilliant with the recent sale of grandads house. There was a lot of hiccups along the way to do with his non land registry and boundary lines. We just bought our first house which was being sold by Rook Matthews Sayer. From start to finish they had excellent communication and kept us informed. We were helped by Eve, the senior office manager, and Natalie, the sales progressor. Both were extremely extremely helpful. I don’t think we would have completed the purchase on schedule if it wasn’t for Natalie’s efforts. She answered every single query we had and helped deal with both sets of solicitors. My wife and I decided to sell our house in early 2022. We met with several Estate Agents but decided to use RMS in Whitley Bay after meeting Alison and being assured of the service they would provide to us. I can say now she did not overstate the level of service they would provide or the competent way they would advertise and handle all enquires for our house. We found a buyer after one week on the market, we actually had 6 offers in during the first weekend's viewing and nearly 20 actual viewings. Alison and the girls, especially Jan kept us fully informed of progress. Unfortunately our potential buyer dropped out due to personal reasons when we were quite a way down the process. I think the RMS staff were almost as upset as we were. The stress of the fall through of the sale badly affected my wife and I so we took our house of the market. We decided to try again early this year, although the market was radically different to the one in 2022. We had no hesitation in putting it up again with Alison and the team About 5 weeks ago we completed the sale of our house. Alison, Jan and everyone else kept us fully informed of progress once again and worked with us to ensure, as best they could, nothing went wrong this time. The team in RMS Whitley Bay are second to none. The customer service is first class and I cannot recommend them enough. Thank you Alison, Jan and everyone at the branch.

Their knowledge of the local market, and drive to find the right buyer and get the best price for each property, is exceptional. Alison worked tirelessly to negotiate on our behalf. Once the sale and purchase was agreed their hard work continued. It’s rare to find an agent who can be impressive in both the sale negotiation and holding the sale together through to completion without bump or incident. I’d go as far as to say this was the perfect agent experience and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Fantastic, Friendly Service

Going through the Forrest Hall branch, Alistair Bowman was absolutely fantastic with helping me remortgage. It was especially stressful as I needed to be secured on a new deal before rate hikes took effect and Alistair managed everything so efficiently for me. He squeezed me in for appointments at short notice, clearly explained all aspects of the process and was very understanding about fitting things in around my working hours. Ultimately he secured me a great deal in very little time. 5 stars for the service Alistair provided.I would've given 5 stars for the review except that the reason I had very little time to remortgage was because the person I was initially emailing to arrange an appointment didnt respond to my messages in a timely manner and had to be chased, then when they did respond they booked me in for an appointment with Alistair when he already had an appointment booked with someone else. Other than that I am very satisfied with the service I received from RMS!
