We recently bought our first home through Robinson Reade, and we couldn't be happier with the service we received. From the start, the team was always friendly, approachable, and accommodating. They were happy to arrange viewings whenever we requested them, which made finding the right home much easier. A special thank you goes to Donetta Holland, who was exceptional throughout the entire process. Buying a home can be overwhelming, but she made everything feel so much more manageable. She consistently went above and beyond by chasing solicitors and other third parties, following up on enquiries, and making sure nothing was left sitting for too long. She kept us informed every step of the way, explained everything clearly, and was always available to answer our questions and offer reassurance. Donetta’s knowledge of conveyancing processes and general conveyance law was also extremely helpful, as she was able to clearly explain stages of the process and guide us through what to expect, which gave us real confidence throughout. Her communication, dedication, and willingness to go the extra mile made such a positive difference to our experience. We genuinely felt that she cared about helping us complete our purchase as smoothly as possible. We would also like to thank Emma Macgregor, Barbara Wheeler, Emma Watson, and Nathan Macgregor, who were all fantastic whenever we attended property viewings. They were always friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to answer any questions we had. If they didn't have an answer straight away, they would always take the time to find the information and come back to us promptly, which we really appreciated. Their professionalism and willingness to help gave us confidence throughout our search and made every viewing a positive experience. One thing that really stood out was the excellent communication from the entire team. Whenever we phoned the office, the phone was answered promptly, and if the person we needed wasn't available, they always made sure to return our call as soon as possible. We never felt like we were being left waiting or having to chase for updates, which made the whole experience feel smooth, personal, and well managed. We are so grateful to Donetta and the whole team for helping us buy our first home. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this agency to anyone looking for a professional, supportive, and reliable estate agent. Our experience it’s Robinson Reade has been exceptional from the beginning of the process to the very end, from the initial consultation you are treated and considered as family. It’s true what they say, people buy from people, and from the first time that we met Craig Tarbet - property Consultant, for the initial consultation. We knew that we were in very safe and good hands and that the personal touch that Robinson Reade are renowned for was evident from the very beginning. The photos were quickly arranged as we had an offer in on a property in Scotland, they also came back out and retook them once we had replaced the carpets and updated the photos and website. After this the appointments were arranged by Emma Watson - Sales Advisor, and the communications were great, keeping us informed at all stages of viewings with great feedback received on how we could improve the property from each viewing. Timings for viewings were considerate as we both work from home and have a young dog and care was taken to ensure that we had plenty of notice and that there was no unnecessary disruption. Once we had accepted an offer from our buyer the case was assigned to Donetta Holland - Sales Manager, this is where the personal reputation that Robinson Reade are renowned for stepped up to another level. Every one needs someone like Donetta in their lives and house selling or purchase process, controlling activities from the offer through to completion. Donetta knows the law like that back of her hand and throughout our process she was able to guide us through the legal complexities especially as we had issue with a Deed of Variation. She was able to effectively manage both legal teams and ensure that the process was so effortless and smooth. She is an expert in communication and keeping all parties informed of any outcomes and directing the process to a successful completion, this was made more difficult in this sale due to our onward purchase in Scotland and DoV issues. This excellent management of the complex issues, in its own right is worth every penny of the fee. She was able to calm us down when we were in danger of losing the plot and control, she pulled us right back to where we needed to be. Whilst Donetta was hugely instrumental in ensuring our purchase was concluded on time. Our purchase in its entirety is down to the cohesiveness of Jane and the whole Robinson Reade team, make no mistake, while this a small team, it is mighty, very effective and for whom nothing is too much trouble and they all work tirelessly to achieve the most positive experience for your sale or purchase, and you are in very capable hands for your sale and purchase. You will not regret choosing Robinson Reade, we don’t.

Outstanding - after years of dealing with average, vaguely committed and underqualified Agents Robinson Reade have been a real breath of fresh air. Jane and Louise are not only efficient but understand that some of us are easily distracted and forget things. Gentle reminders on document signing in a timely fashion is just a tiny part of what illustrates how organised they are. The description they created for the property actually had even me interested in it and I’m selling it. No exaggeration just really really clear expression and enthusiasm bringing out the best points. From first contact to listing has been less than a week including all authorisations, visits photographs et cetera. I could not be more impressed.

I contacted the agency simply to arrange a viewing and provided my full name and telephone number. I was then asked for additional personal information, including my residential address, before even viewing the property. This reflects a wider problem in the market: unnecessary data collection becoming normalised at every stage. Agents should collect only the information genuinely necessary for the specific purpose. A viewing should not become a pretext for gathering more personal data than is reasonably required. I found the approach intrusive and disproportionate, and it immediately reduced my confidence in dealing with the agency.

From the minute I met Craig at the viewing of my new property I was so impressed with the service from Park Gate Robinson Reade. Craig listened to what was important to me, and gave me time to consider specifics in the property. He then kept me informed throughout the negotiations, he was friendly, informative and very professional. I’ve contacted Robinson Reade several times regarding a property and found the experience very frustrating. Despite having significant funds available and more than enough to meet any standard affordability criteria, I was told that I didn’t qualify. Communication was poor, and after waiting a week for updates, I was eventually told the property had already been taken. Overall, I felt my time was wasted and the process was handled unprofessionally. Based on my experience, I personally would not recommend them. *UPDATE* I’m disappointed by the reply I received from the company. Rather than acknowledging the issues I raised, the response was argumentative and included statements that were simply untrue. Normally, when a business replies constructively and genuinely apologises, I’m more than happy to update my review to reflect that. However, the tone and content of this response showed a complete disregard for my actual experience. As some friendly advice to the company: a sincere, accurate, and non-defensive reply will always go a lot further than trying to rewrite events. Because of the nature of their reply, I will be keeping this review at one star.

Huge thanks to Emma in sales and Donetta who managed the sale. I can't recommend Robinson Reade highly enough. I viewed a lot of properties with other agents and they were next to useless. Turning up without keys, not having any of the information I needed. I'm not sure how you can sell a property without knowing basic details like parking and service charges. But Robinson Reade were a breath of fresh air, they actually called me immediately when a property I was interested in became available (I had contacted them only once and left my details with them months before). Emma was at the property for the viewing early to greet me, I had a lot of questions and she had ALL the answers. Prepared in every way. Thats how you sell a property. Once an offer had been accepted, Donetta arranged everything, sorted all of the paperwork, explained everything very clearly and made sure myself and the vendor knew exactly what was happening, and when. Communication and customer service were perfect. I never had to chase Robinson Reade to do anything, they were always on top of everything, from first contact to handing over the keys. If you have a property to sell - choose Robinson Reade. If you are looking to buy, you better hope the seller of your dream home chose Robinson Reade :)
