It is absolutley shocking how this Estate Agents have nearly 5 stars! Do not give a F*** about tenants. It took 4 months for us to hear about getting our deposit back and we had to go an dispute it! Tried to rip us off for a bill of £2000 for a 1 bed flat! Amanda Leggett dealt with our account and never answered our calls, never answered her phone, got outright ignored for a good month. Once you have paid the deposit and are in you are in your rented accomodation they do not care about you anymore. They will fine you for the smallest things. Has put me off renting for life.

Fantastic professionalism from start to finish. After being given the run around from other local estate agents due to certain circumstances , Phoebe Hilton from beales gave us a call and can honestly say she couldn't do enough for us. Phoebe showed amazing willing to help us find our ideal property and assisted us every step of the way , nothing was too much effort for her to help us out.She was upfront and honest , very easy to talk to and would highly recommend her for any bodies letting needs.Amazing service and as cheesy as it sounds, I would of given 10*s if it was an option.

I have used Beal's Lettings on several occasions over the years to find tenants, set up the AST contract, the inventory, carry out the check out and check ins. They have been excellent at sorting out any problems that occurred. If I have had a problem they have been quick to respond and sort things out. The only thing I would say is that at the initial stages, when they have found a tenant, they could have been better at confirming the agreed costs.

Long story short. I had my house for sale with Austin wyatt for over a year. Spoke with lilly at Beals who was like a breath of fresh air, honest, realistic, trust worthy and transparent. Found a buyer within days, found buyers a buyer and a chain was completed. From start to finish excellent customer service, managed my expectations superbly and I can not rate lilly highly enough. Knowing my property wasn’t the easiest to sell, Beals took on the task and went full steam ahead. Although a little tricky at the beginning with the wrong candidates and change in sales guy that didn’t help, however, when Ben Thompson took over the property things moved very quickly and smoothly. He regularly phoned me to let me know what was going on and his politeness, honesty and professionalism was greatly received. He was bringing the right people to view the property and we got the sale! All through the sales process I felt at ease and was always up to date with progress and actions. With Bens outstanding negotiation skills he was able to get the deal that best fitted myself which managed me also to purchase a new property and also through the purchase process he made it happen was absolutely superb!With Ben at the helm I absolutely recommend Beals.

I own a property, for which Beals are the lease holder. I would not recommend owning a property for which Beals are associated and based on my experience; I would not recommend Beals have any involvement in any property you’re associated with - whether you’re a landlord or tenant.Their upkeep / maintenance of the property is shocking. Their planned maintenance/work appears to have little or no structure and more about responding to situations, rather than taking a proactive approach. Any work that is carried out appears to be contracted by price and speed rather than exploring quality, longer term solutions. Properties and the people living within them are neglected for long periods of time.In my opinion, Beals take little or no interest and accountability with the properties and people they are associated with. When you do contact Beals; you are met with, on the whole, argumentative staff who do not listen to or believe what you are telling them. They talk over you and make assumptions about your personal life and then use this incorrect information to justify their actions. There are some exceptions to this, but not enough to make up for the total lack of customer service from others.I have, on multiple occasions, liaised with Beals to resolve a situation outlining my intentions and timings - however they were unable to facilitate it. Because I happened to liaise with Beals at a time that was not suitable for them, a resolution (from Beals perspective) was not found at a preferable time for them - I was incurred a significant fine with added VAT! Beals are only able to support you if it is at a time that is convenient to, or of benefit to them. If you make perfectly reasonable requests or have even basic expectations of a leaseholder - don’t expect much from Beals. They will only disappoint and charge you extra for the pleasure.

Utterly pathetic.Total CowboysIt will have taken nearly four weeks for them to return my deposit as they let the landlord take all the keys back before they had the chance to complete the exit visit; so their error, but I am left out of pocket. No one in their office gave a scooby-do about this and it took so many phone calls and chasing from myself, to get the funds returned. Even the pack completed by myself on leaving the property had not been uploaded onto their system, a full four weeks after handing it in.They couldn't care less; totally amateurish; quicker than a rat up a drain pipe to take your money off you, but slower than an asthmatic ant carrying a heavy bag of shopping to return it. DO NOT USER THIS WOEFUL COMPANY

As a Landlord, Beals did not look after my property and trying to sort anything out with their staff at any level just resulted in an increase in their charges. Dealing with Beals has been the most frustrating and unproductive experience of my life.If you are a Landlord, my advice would be to find an agent that actually wants to deliver a performance for your money. Apparently rental is a very small part of Beals and therefore not really a serious concern for the company.
