Pleasantly surprised! After my brother had a bad experience letting through beals estate agents I was fairly hesitant when I realised the property I wanted to buy was with the same company. Akshay Chotai is hands down one of the best estate agents I have come across. He is very knowledgeable and personable and listens to what you are saying. I would definitely buy my next property through him without a doubt!

FacebookUnprofessional, Incompetent, Deceitful.Beales are the worst letting agent I have ever dealt with. They are very slow to respond to problems, often months. They (eventually) send the same unskilled handymen to “resolve” every issue and it always results in many more visits than is necessary and a substandard botch-job. To achieve this level of “service” you have to chase them many, many times.They have been caught out lying to me on numerous occasions. At the end of tenancy they tried to overcharge me. Luckily they were not competent enough to pull it off. Do not deal with this company. It doesn’t matter if you like the house, it will not be worth the hassle you will go through.

After an absolute nightmare and a long 8 months of our previous buyer falling through, things have been done very speedily and we have also been kept up to date with the process. Beals stole our £2.5k deposit despite leaving the house exactly how it was when we moved in. Contacted Molly Mae who put me through to Hayley Gooding and Kirsty Millis. They both ignored my emails over and over again, obviously hoping I would get bored and eventually give up. They are still yet to reply and refusing to engage at all in any talk of the stolen deposit. While we were living in the house (that was full of black mould just to add), they would often email saying we hadn’t paid rent even though all of us had. They obviously thought they could squeeze more out of us, hoping we weren’t paying close attention. DO NOT rent from this company, they will steal whatever they can if you let them.

GoogleShocking company. I've recently moved into a property in Ocean Village Southampton and I'm paying £1575 a month in rent. So many things wrong it's unbelievable. Condition of property very poor, alarm doesnt work, three bathrooms, all with faulty showers, no garage key, broken back gate, combi boiler not working, broken toilet seat, The list goes on and on. What have Beals done about it thus far. Absolutely nothing.
