GoogleWe have purchased two buy to let properties through Barbers, neither of which were straight forward but the agents were exceptional in working extremely hard to allow the purchases to complete. GoogleBe assured if you let Barbers rent out your property you'd be sure to gain a drug dealer, 3 properties, yes 3 properties have been let out in the last 12 months are occupied by drug dealers and they know about it!!! Clearly they do NOT vet their potential tenants thoroughly and are only in it for the money, any tenant will do as long as they get their cut and in return you have your lovely house or flat trashed and used as a drugs den!

All of our prospective tenants undertake a stringent credit check and referencing process, to ensure that they are suitable for the property which they are applying to rent. We have acted within the legal capacity by which we are governed to address the matter you have raised, but unfortunately this really is for the police to address, and I believe you have taken steps to report this to them. However, please be assured that we are taking your observations extremely seriously and if we are furnished with incident reports from the police, this would enable us to take the necessary legal steps to try to resolve this matter.

GoogleI need a house within the space of 3 weeks, I found one that was perfect for me but they put me off for 2 weeks because there was another person interested, even though I said I can't put deposit down and first month's rent straight away... By far the worst estate agents around, no care what so ever for their clients

When other estate agencies were very dismissive I found Barbers looked past my previous circumstances. Thankyou so much for helping me obtain my new home!

GoogleI have rented two properties through Barbers and would highly recommend them. From commencing the tenancies they were extremely professional explaining al costs clearly and were very efficient in processing all of the required paperwork. Similarly, when inspecting the property at the conclusion of the rentals, they were prompt and fair in returning my deposits. Any issues with the properties were dealt with very quickly with professional contractors and there were regular inspections which again, were conducted professionally and politely without being needlessly intrusive.
