THIS RELATES TO HUNTERS IN NORTHENDON M22 4FZ.I have been using Hunters for the last two years and I have to say they are shocking and that is an understatement. Do not use this company. You constantly have to chase them to do things which your paying them for and they never answer their phone. This place is run by Alan who seems to have a chip on his shoulder and under him is John who simply makes it up as he's goes along. I've just ended my agreement with them and my tenant called to say despite promises from them to refund the deposit he still hasn't been paid and could I call them I just did to help him out and was told by Alan they no longer work for me. Just being an absolute idiot with an attitude. He then hung up on me. I went their last week to get the keys back and Nick had been dealing with my account, got told by John he wasn't there and then 5 mins later he walks out of the back room. Just a couple of examples of the way Hunters operate. Stay away from them is my advice. Plenty of estate agents in this area to go to.

Dealing with anyone is this company is painful,we rented a property and hunters were in charge of it,we moved out over a month ago and left the property in good condition,but they took money for deep cleaning without our consent,they took other monies for items they claimed were missing,there emails to us were rude and dismissive,she always argued with everything we said,the most unprofessional person I have ever met,they stole our money from us and now we have to take legal proceedings against themWe are still waiting on receipts from the items they claimed to have bought & the deep cleaning,the apartment didn’t need to be deep cleaned,but the greedy landlord decided to keep most of depositAbsolute disgrace of a company won’t be dealing with them again

HUNTERS STANMOREI am going through a messy divorce and needed to get a home valued. Because my ex-partner wishes to buy the property and was looking for the lowest valuation she could get. The Hunters agent valued the property at a going rate for a three bedroom property at a measly £550,000 when the property is five bedrooms and quite substantial with three bathrooms, a double garage, and large garden. In addition, the said property has modern fixtures and fittings throughout. Similar properties in the area are being valued at between £650,000 and £700,000. Do not trust Hunters in STANMORE.

This is the first time I've called this agency. (I'm a BTL investor) spoke to a lady called Kiki, she was very kind and clearly explained what the situation was with this particular property, she went far and beyond. I would highly recommend to use this agency and especially Kiki. ;)

I am leaving in bradford BD5 area renting the house with Hunter from 2018 same house very very very disappointed with this guys my house rental was for £525 then £550 then jumped to £795 from the first day until now i write this review nearly 5 years I never missed the payment even for one day I paid in time every month I have got my bank statement to prove that and they never fixed and solved the problems! too much Moulding, heating issues, kitchen issues etc,,,etc,,,, until I complained to housing standards then fixed the problems and I spent around £4300 from my pocket to repainting whole house new carpets new downstairs floor laminate then after yearly check increased my rent to £795 now and all the time insulting me when I report the issues they’ll charging me £65 and I have many more words to say about their description all I can say please people don’t deal with Hunters they’ll robbing you they’re very clever from first to cheating you until you get trapped then very hard to get out from their trap because these guys very professional cheaters they have experience for years you can’t bit them easy.

I live in Bingley and my whole bathroom has been covered with black mould since the 5th February, which is when I reported straight away. The staff do not want to admit they should fix the issue and it took me calling the council to make them fix it (as of yet, still not fixed) They still want the full rent paid somehow too, set of theives. Not once have they offered alternative accomodation or reduced rent, AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

Hunters (READING) Vile agency when it comes to house shares. (AVOID) Allows violent and aggressive men to be abusing towards female housemates and does nothing about it! Doesn’t care for the well-being of tenants and protection of renters. All they care about is money and pleasing landlords with their fake smiles. All about business and not about professionalism. Makes people out that they aren’t allowed to use their own items in shared areas?! Has a problem with people labelling what is theirs to make it clear to 5 other people. Really gross degrading treatment. AVOID :) AVOID :) AVOID :)

Harrogate branch (lettings) My whole experience with this has been horrific and cost me thousands of pounds! Used Hunters to set a tenancy up.Failed to reference tenants correctly.They had a number of outstanding debts before start of tenancy, was a Credit history check completed? Failed to secure deposit, only after 6 months did I find out. No one from Hunters contacted me. I contacted them and issue was solved and righted by James ( only person who performed to professional at Hunters)The tenants should of never got tenancy with their credit histories.And therefore 3 months into tenancy they stopped paying rent!Relationship between me and tenants was strained so Hunters were requested to do inspection. Hunters failed to do an inspection.After tenancy finished (eviction) Hunters were paid to do end of tenancy report. They did complete this (pay up front!) But no report sent! Requested and sent.Hunters have shown negligence and fail to address this.

Our house was for sale for 4 months with Hunters Ashford in Kent, we only had 3 actual viewings, never sold it, and had drama after drama. Cancelled viewings constantly, once notified to me by EMAIL the afternoon before! We asked and were assured we'd be told when viewings were done so we could re enter the property straight away, not once was this done. Never did anything other than suggest lowering the price to help sell it - not redoing wording, changing photos or doing extra promotions etc. Problems with initial photos too. Lazy and unprofessional at best.

I'm absolutely disgusted by the way the Yatton branch of Hunters have treated me and my family. 3 months I truly trusted the manager !! of them. she looked at my daughter saying I will make the dream for having this house comes true. 3 months lots of stress but we thought she knows what she's doing but all were just nothing. we were even selling our furniture getting ready for the new house. at the end we were being treated like rubbish for her. I never use them again.

Absolutely awful service from the Rugeley branch, had a viewing cancelled, my husband had to chase for next viewing only to be told the viewings were full and basically tough luck!! Then got a call to arrange a viewing, which we thought, ok let's go.... Only to show up and no one there.Rang the branch to be told they was viewing all morning so will call the lady who was doing the viewing.The nice young lady has to come back to us to tell us it was cancelled again and we should have received an email, which we never!The communication was truly awful, no follow up calls at all, absolutely dreadful Cust service...... Avoid!!!!!

Two weeks into owning this house it's clear there are several long-standing issues and that it hasn't been maintained by Hunters who you'd hope would have done some checks in the 6 months I was waiting to be allowed to move in. As of this morning the locking mechanism in the front door has broken (something like the 6th time I've been in and out) and they tell me it's not their responsibility. Basically another lot of people when buying a house who want a big fee but actually do very little. Missing a day of work for this.

Hunters dartford had a property for sale I was very interested in, I sent an enquiry and when my husband called to try book a viewing he was met by a very rude individual who told him they aren’t accepting anymore viewings! I then received an email questionnaire that I replied to and sent back to then get another email to say they sent the wrong one and could I fill out another… which I did… I still haven’t heard and now the property is off the market by the looks, I have emailed twice to find out what’s going on to get no replies and have calls go straight to voicemail! Will never use this company! Awful customer service
