The experience from the buyer's perspective has been awful with KF. They were putting pressure on us to finalize the process from offer to completion in 30 days (!!) and were being very unprofessional and aggressive about it. After completion, there were some issues with the house and we let them know asap, yet they lied saying they passed the information on to the sellers. After 2 months, when we kept chasing them for an update and asked for proof that they indeed emailed the sellers (as KF was saying the sellers are not responding), KF showed us that the email they sent to them was couple days old only! So now the sellers of course do not trust that the issues we raised were indeed at move in date. This has financial impact, for which KF should be liable. Overall very unprofessional , I do not recommend them. When talking to them via email they barely reply or they just simply lie, yet I bet that now that the review is published here, they will issue a common copy-past reply saying how they are looking into the issue and all that nonsense, to save their face.

GoogleIsabella Maltman, one of the letting agents has caused me significant distress around the Christmas and winter holiday season with the rising bills i need to pay. I entered into a deposit dispute over a sum of £2.2k deposit, in which the landlord and I had a dispute over £400 with the remainder £1,790.30 being undisputed. Instead of releasing the undisputed amount (which i have urgently needed to pay the rising bills over winter) Knight Frank have pressured me into raising the dispute to TDS over the full amount so that it is unlikely i will get any of my money returned until the case is resolved. Who knows, either way the whole process has been massively unclear. At first it seemed they woudl give the undisputed amount back but then after sending my bank details and chasing them on the phone they said they needed the landlord to confirm again on email (even though he already had). After finally chasing the landlord down again he was annoyed he had to make a further confirmation that my undisputed amount can be returned. On for THEN knight frank to tell me that i need to raise the dispute with TDS before anything can be returned. Then finally after doing that they said they needed my bank details again (id already provided them) and they could either return the undisputed amount or send it to TDS. It’s still not clear whats going on. Terrible post tenancy service all around.

GoogleI rented a flat in marylebone from this agency , total nightmare! They didn’t tell me anything about problems In this flat , me and my daughter lived one horrible year . After I finally managed to move out knightsfrank gave zero attention to my safety deposit , we try to reach them they don’t ever call back they don’t ever return your calls . They keep making me go back and fourth . This guide you wrongly to gain more time. It’s been one month . I have agreed to all the deductions since third day . The treatment from the agency after you leave it’s absurd ! Not to mention the flat that they the details they mentioned so I can move in was all wrong and after the nightmare of the place ! I do not recommend them at all !

GoogleKnight Frank contractors accessed and damaged my property and rummaged through personal items without permission from the tenant OR the landlord. In fact, the landlord stated that Knight Frank arranged "repairs" to the property that he explicitly told them not to perform, yet they did it anyway and then charged him. When I notified Knight Frank their contractors had left my boiler on, causing large utility bills, and damaged the property, they failed to follow up or notify the landlord, obviously because it would not be a good look for them. They are basically in this business to rip off both the tenant and the landlord. When confronted, they basically gaslight tenants and landlords. No responsibility or accountability. This is incredibly egregious conduct by Knight Frank in my opinion.
