GoogleAVOID! Utter incompetent timewasters.
They want to rent your property out without sharing RIGHT TO RENT reports of potential tenants. This report shows whether a tenant has passed the Affordability & income check.
Why is this important? If the tenant decides to stop paying rent, you can claim the rent back from your Landlord insurance's Rent protection service. If the tenant failed the check and you still rented it out to them, you would be paying the mortage while getting no rent.
It was frustating dealing with them. They would not share the reports of potential tenants after multiple requests and then went quiet all of a sudden. I lost out on a month's rent! Their managing director is an absolute bell end and she needs to learn some manners on how to deal with clients. Clients are paying you love, you are not doing things for free.

So, a landlord has no right to see the full Right to rent report but still has to blindly sign an agreement with a tenant in your delusional universe? I am not sure which regulatory body you are a member of because I would surely love to have a word about your establishment's incompetency with them.
This is the type of estate agent that will quickly get you a tenant, collect the fees and then hightail it and when the tenant stops paying rent, they then pretend they never even heard of you.
I am glad things did not materialize with them. If you are a landlord, run as fast as you can.

We do not usually respond publicly to reviews, particularly those posted at 3am, however, on this occasion we felt it was important to provide some clarity. The language and name-calling used in the comment is unnecessary and does not reflect the situation accurately.
We have never dealt with you directly, and as we have never received a negative review from any landlord, we can only presume this relates to your mother’s recent enquiry.
Our team spent considerable time reassuring and guiding her through the lettings process, all of which was provided free of charge. She had several other agents instructed prior to us, and it became clear that the expectations being placed on us did not align with our moral, responsible and professional standards as a regulated agency.
For this reason, we made the decision to de-instruct ourselves from marketing the property and returned the keys to your mother.

GoogleWorst and crooked estate. Robbing people under disguise! We rent a flat with this est.agent for 2 years whereby it was full of mould. We requested them loads of time all they say keep the window open. Its freezing snow how do we do it? When we return the keys they charged us for an old oven that was not clean and the oven racks were already rusty. GoogleSimply avoid. Made our lives very stressful. Unprofessional. We are decent people who always paid their rent on time, never had any parties, respected to the rental etc. We had a blocked toilet which was unusable for 10 days and they wouldn't send out a plumber. We put our own money into the rented flat, vastly improved the place and the garden, negotiated to put up a fence only to be told to take it down after we'd paid for and put it up ourselves. At the end of the tenency we were told we would have to pay hundreds of pounds out of our deposit for things which were either false or fabricated. We were about to pay when we realized they'd broken the law and failed to protect our deposit and it wasn't until we threatened court that they backed off and gave us our deposit back. I could gogon, and on. I cannot stress enough that crowstones are simply the worst and should be avoided at all costs. I'd give zero stars if possible.
