We recently decided to put our home up for sale, we saw several estate agents when we came to market the house and one agent stood out from the rest. Tim came to visit us and was Passionate, motivated and driven to work with us and really set himself and Town and country apart from day one. The property was put on the market within 2 days; brochures, signage, online advertising etc. and viewing where flooding in thick and fast. A buyer was found in a much shorter time than we expected thanks to the brilliant work of the whole team at Town and Country. We haven’t been able to fault the sales process throughout its journey, which completed last week. Tim and his team have done a fantastic job, massively supportive to myself and our family along the way, no query, phone call, email was to much to ask for and you always knew you would get the answer you where looking for. I have met a number of estate agents in the area and Town and country have been the gold standard of them all. A massive thank you to Tim and all the team at Town and country for your help during our sale process. I will be back in future I know that for sure and I would urge anyone considering buying or selling to look no further than town and country, I promise that you will not he disappointed.

On 31 October my offer on a property in Kessingland, Suffolk was accepted. I was given a guarantee that it would complete within 4 weeks. My reservation fee was requested and paid into the company's account, Norwich branch. This claim of guaranteed completion by 1 December was described as ludicrous by other agents, notably because of delays at Land Registry. I spoke to the manager of the company to be advised that it could possibly happen but could not be guaranteed She also explained that most empty properties on their site went through auction, a very different process to traditional sale which mine was. None of this was explained before I paid my fee. So I cancelled my offer on 1 November and requested my registration fee, £2100, be returned. No work had been done on my behalf by the company but all my requests have met with silence. The property has since sold to another client so the company has doubled its profits. I can only describe this behaviour as dishonest/fraudulent. I would not recommend you use Town and Country Estates, Norwich. They simply cannot be trusted.

From the moment Tim came to value our property we knew we’d be using them to sell our home. Tim was really fair and upfront with his valuation and wanted to go to market at a price that worked for what we wanted and needed to achieve for our next purchase. His pictures were great and took into account the details of the work we had done to really help sell our home. Once we went to market we were then mostly in contact with Brad and Alice. They were both really professional and helpful. Brad especially really made us feel like our sale was personal to him and did everything he could to help market and sell our home. Once we had a buyer we had the even more difficult process of buying a house in the current market. Just as with selling, Town and Country went above and beyond securing us with our home, they knew that time was becoming an issue and the prices of houses were only going up and did everything they could to find us our perfect home for our budget and needs. They were always available when we had questions and really reassured us at times we were unsure it was going to go through in time due to further up the chain. We’re glad we not only sold but managed to buy through Town and Country, they really make you feel like your sale matters to them, they have a great team of knowledgeable and easygoing people in their office and would use them again if we were to move again in the future without a doubt! The team were just brilliant. It was the first time I had ever bought and sold a house and they helped and supported me every step of the way (it was emotional, I needed a lot of hand holding!). They sold it for more than I was expecting, and on the first day too. They also arranged my mortgage for me - it wasn’t an easy one for various reasons but Oli worked really hard to make it happen. Our house sold after just one viewing and that was about two weeks after our first valuation from Tim, it was super quick!
