Dear Mr Kapalka, Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback regarding your experience with our agency. I sincerely apologise for not returning your call promptly. I have been on annual leave for the past two weeks and only returned to the office on Monday. As you can imagine, this has resulted in a significant backlog of tasks. When you called on Tuesday and refused to inform my colleague of the nature of your concern, your message was added to my extensive list of calls to return, so this was of your own making I must clarify that the process of purchasing a property in England allows a vendor (and purchasers) to withdraw from a sale at any point prior to the exchange of contracts. This is, unfortunately, beyond our control as an agency. Regarding the specific property in question, my colleague, Michael Whitehead, did inform you at the outset that the vendor had previously withdrawn from two sales, not four as you have stated. Although four sales had been agreed, two sets of buyers also withdrew. Additionally, Michael shared excerpts from correspondence with our client in which the vendor provided assurances that they would not withdraw from a sale again. We understand that this situation is immensely disappointing for prospective buyers, and I assure you that it also represents a significant loss of time, money and resources for our agency. As to the relisting of the property, the client has taken the very unusual step of paying his fee in advance of ther marketing. So to recap you have given us a one star review because i have as yet not returned your call, the delay being created by yourself and for us acting in the best interest of our client. Whilst having shown a duty of care to you as a buyer previously, as well as taking steps to protect future buyers. Best wishes - Darren Greenaway
