Travelled almost 40 mins for 2 viewings, intended to take the evening to consider which to offer on as liked them both. Contacted by Mark a couple of hours later wanting to know how I’m proceeding, saying the vendors from one want to make a decision as already had one offer. Explained I was still thinking it over but leaning toward the one they want a decision how. I had some qus on a couple of matters (mainly because there was conflicting information on the listing and what Mark was now saying). I wanted these put to the vendor. Mark initially said he would ask. Then told me to call by 10am the next day if I wanted to offer? I emailed to thank them for showing me but I would take myself out of the running as it’s not the right conditions for me to make an offer in. No response to this. Two working days later, the property in question has the price slashed by £40k?? I can only infer this was a dirty high pressure tactic from Mark to get me to panic offer after 2 hours, which backfired. Disgraceful, time wasting behaviour considering I had travelled for viewings. The one star is for Jenny the viewing agent who is a pleasure to view with

We had a very good experience with Karl Tatler West Kirby Office , we found the team professional and polite. We had lived in our house for over 30 years, the thought of moving was daunting. We needed advice on how to begin the process. Mark and Chris were approachable, they listened to our concerns. Mark organised viewings and kept us informed throughout. The team at the West Kirby office were fantastic from start to finish, especially Mark, who apart from being a Man Utd fan, was absolutely fantastic. With what could have been a tricky move to make happen at certain parts, Mark helped steer the ship in the right direction for all parties to complete with minimal stress and fuss. This is the 2nd time we have used Taltler’s to move and to purchase and would definitely recommend and use again in the future 👍

Liz showed us around a Meols property. She is a gem, she has a lovely,professional and emotionally warm manner and clearly loves her job. She was professional and knowledgeable and took time to help us see what the property had to offer. She even took a video of said property so we could view it again. Karl Tatler' manager Chris is also a gem and spent a great deal of time visiting our house and went through the process of buying and selling in an easygoing way that helped alleviate some of our fears. Macy was absolutely fantastic throughout both the sale of our home and our onward purchase. Karl Tatler estate agent in West Kirby were so. very helpful when it came to buying one of their properties. Kate Griffiths in the “front of house”was exceptionally professional and so friendly. She arranged our viewings, started the ball rolling over negotiations with enthusiasm and respect. My wife and I were always treated as valued clients. The Greasby Branch is very poor to say the least. They showed all the wonderful statistics of how they are the best. As soon as I signed the agreement it all changes, sales executive that was given to us (Jess) was useless and got one viewer the time it was with them. Handed over at one stage to a young gentleman who managed to get two. Went in sit with Jess to see why it's not moving as we had put an offer on another property. She said its priced a bit high (was their evaluation not mine) so I lowered it. Had made the decision they price high as their fees are the highest on the wirral, went it to give them written notice of 14 days as per their contract. Offered Jess the letter she we don't need that will enter into system. So the first day we put it on the market with another estate agent we get a call from Noah saying we were in breach of contract, why you may ask? Jess had not entered anything on the system. I work a lot with companies on Voice of the customer (VOC) They simply don't understand it. Trying to send an email to Karl Tatler himself is some what difficult for obvious reasons, but I will find a way. Quite simple if want proper customer service don't use Karl Tatler

What does it take to get these people off your back? They don’t understand subtleties and even when you say you will get back to them once a difficult and stressful family situation was over, they continue to send text after text and the same with emails. They do not listen to the potential client and will do anything to get a sale, even if that means way over valuing your property. Would advise anyone to avoid if they don’t want to be continually harassed.

It is with great pleasure I leave this review for the team at West Kirby. They have been fantastic in selling my father’s home. Chris the Manager, valued the property and Hannah became our Property Manager. When Chris moved branches, Clare was promoted and Cheryl took over from Hannah who went on maternity leave. I mention this, as staff changes can sometimes present challenges, but the West Kirby team were absolutely brilliant. In particular, I wish to highlight Clare, Cheryl and Hannah; their professionalism, communication and listening skills are excellent! They understand what’s important and genuinely care! The two members of staff that undertook the viewings, Jill and in particular Luke were superb! Once we accepted an offer, the Sales Progression team took over and Joanne took the sale forward. She kept us updated on the progress of the sale, liaising with our buyer, their estate agent and solicitor to ensure communication was transparent! Joanne was fantastic! A really difficult situation for me, (selling my father’s beloved home) was handled with sensitivity and care and I would not hesitate in recommending Karl Tatler’s to anyone wishing to sell or buy a property.

I hadn't bought/sold a house in 36 years and was unaccustomed to the procedures etc. After obtaining many valuations/quotes I found Karl Tatler Estate Agent the most accommodating. From the first day I met Clare Goodwin I felt assured in my decision. Clare and her team in the West Kirby office assisted me in every way possible from start to finish. I cannot thank the team at Karl Tatler West Kirby enough for making my house selling experience seamless from start to finish. Clare made me feel so reassured when taking the photos of my house & explained each step of the house selling process to me (this was my first time selling a property). I dealt with Tom (who has now left the team) who was equally as helpful & thorough. And latterly anyone else I spoke to was equally as helpful.
