GoogleWe bought our house last year through Tim Russ. We were really impressed with them and would definitely use them if we were to ever sell our house (not that we plan to - we love it!). They were particularly impressive during the period between our offer being accepted and exchange - in particular Adrian, our main point of contact. They liaised with our mortgage providers and solicitors throughout and kept us and the sellers informed throughout. They did more than we would expect of an estate agent and really helped to keep things moving and get over the line. They were also really helpful when we were looking for a house, before we found the place we ultimately bought. They were very professional and fair to all parties and we felt like we knew where we stood at all times. Very happy to recommend.

GoogleHorrendous experience using them. Absolute lack of communication between us (potential buyer) and the seller meant that we missed an opportunity to buy a house. We weren't given the option to increase our bid at all (of which we could easily but we had already offered over asking price). They are NOT concerned with taking the best offer to the seller as they just want a sale...any sale. Which they will of course get in this market. If you are a buyer and see a house on the market with them, I would consider just moving on and looking elsewhere. If you are thinking of selling with them, beware. You may miss out on the best offer as they just want a quick sale it seems and will not present all offers to you. This is not an angry post 'just because'. It is a genuine terrible experience. Edit because I can't reply to the response... I'm not telling you my name as I don't want my name 'blacklisted' as a 'difficult' client as I actually want to buy a house but this is my horrendous experience. We have been looking for a house for over 5 months, our place has been sold because if you haven't had offers on what you are selling, in this market agents won't entertain offers on properties. We found a place that was perfect and put in an offer above asking as we were told that no one had done so. We even stated that we can and will go higher if needed. After NO communication at all we were told that the property was sold...we weren't given the option to increase our bid despite saying that we would if needed. I since know how much the property sold for and it is well below what we were prepared to bid but I'm not going to give my initial offer at £20k above asking price when told that "no one had gone over". Because we have sold our house we are now renting which means we are unlikely to be able to increase our savings. So yes...it was a horrendous experience and you did not take the best offer to the seller. You wanted whatever was highest on a given day and not want the hassle of contacting other interested parties. You DO NOT have the sellers best interest at heart as we couldn't have been a more perfect buyer...no chain, mortgage in principal and a big cash deposit. Again I would advise buyers to communicate with sellers directly and avoid this estate agent. Sellers....I would seriously question whether the best offer was presented to you because in our case, the seller of the property got around £10k below what we were prepared to bid to secure what was our dream home.
We are shocked and disappointed to hear you feel you had a 'horrendous' experience with us. We pride ourselves on our high level of service and communication. Whilst we work very hard to achieve the best sale for our vendors, all offers once presented are considered on their own merit by the vendors as ultimately it is their decision and we act upon their instruction . In some cases particularly with a highly desirable property this can lead to a best and final offer which then can lead to disappointment for prospective buyers. GoogleThe team at Tim Russ have been fantastic at supporting us to sell our home. They were the first choice agents for us after Nicky did a fantastic job at holding our (very wobbly) chain together when we bought this house 5 years ago. They were just as brilliant at leading on the sale, this time with Laura at the helm. The whole team is incredibly professional, knowledgeable, supportive and responsive. They take every step of the process seriously - not just marketing the house but making sure the process progresses through to completion. They liaise with solicitors and agents through the chain to keep things together and keep spirits up. Nothing seems too much trouble. I can't recommend them enough.

GoogleI would highly recommend Tim Russ estate agent. I have been very lucky to have been given the professional hand I need in hunting for my perfect property. Also I was shown around a house after the kelly had even finished work for the day! There was no pressure. Ideas were given to us on what we could do to make it a better family home. We are still looking but they have kept us in the loop to properties that are coming to the market. Thank you Tim Russ.

GoogleA line or two to express my appreciation for the work of Kelly Endean, Property Management Assistant at Tim Russ. Kelly carries out the periodic inspections of rental properties, a role she undertakes with considerable flair. She is knowledgeable, helpful (she speedily found me an excellent glazier when I needed one) and pleasant to deal with. Given the exigencies and difficulties of Covid lockdown, she has been sensitive to the needs of protecting people while carrying out her work and this is particularly appreciated since we have a family member who is more at risk than most.
I love my visits to you and our chats too. Thank you for being wonderful tenants and I look forward to seeing you soon.

GoogleMy partner and I were looking for houses within Wendover and local area. The staff at Tim Russ were second to none, we dealt mostly with Kelly who was excellent but also Laura, Kate and Nikki and they are all credit to the company. Every agent was friendly, knowledgeable and personable, they were able to accommodate us with viewings at short notice, they have excellent communication and they are all very passionate. They also notified us when new properties were due to arrive on the market that they though would fit our needs. The best thing for me was that none of the staff were pushy; they genuinely want you to find the house that's right for you. In the end we didn't source our house through this agency but we still wanted to leave a review as we were incredibly impressed with their service. When we informed them we had agreed a sale elsewhere they were genuinely pleased for us (even though they didn't get our custom), this proves they really do care.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism
