Buying a house blindfolded

If you want a blindfolded way to start you new house experience just buy one through this company. Yes they pay some form of lip service but only just. So don't expect the firm to liase with the owner of the house you bought for minor details like waste collection and basic instructions for let's say central heating. They won't even inform you how to get your hands on the keys to the house you have bought. Thus a blindfolded way to your new house. Update, my wife is leaving flowers for the new owner of our house and yet this firm, which has been a tad lack lustre, expects us to pick the keys from their office. We are buying just a bit more than a car and yet the "middle man" and the conveyancer has had the final say and we move into this house in the dark.

We recently used McCartneys for the sale of our property. From the start all members of staff were extremely helpful, prompt and professional. The photos McCartneys took and used to advertise our property were amazing quality and they handled all viewings in a professional & polite manner. McCartneys were able to find us a very quick sale, within days we had received offers, and attended to all our requests promptly. I would highly recommend McCartneys to any one without hesitation. (and I'm quite a fussy customer)

This company is very helpful, I bought a house through them over a year ago. I would recommend this company as nothing is to much trouble customer services is very Good. I recently contacted them for some information, in relation to buying the house. It's like you are a person and not a number. I have uesd other estate agents in the past but nothing compares to the service that they provide. Thanks to all at the welshpool office helping me in the move.

Having just sold our father’s property under very challenging circumstances, it has been a huge relief to have such competent estate agents working on our behalf. They gave us excellent advice, represented us well and communicated well. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Staff more helpful than the Machynlleth office. We had requested a viewing of a property and had to chase them. Eventually getting Welspool to follow up on, only later that day received a blunt email no more viewings and best & final offer. Obviously a lot of interest in the property but no interest in a potential CASH buyer from the midlands

Estate Agent that advertising prices…

Estate Agent that advertising prices that when offers are made turns out not to be what the vendor wants at all. It wastes your time and disappoints you when they could have been honest from the start. Estate Agents and straight talking are not things you put together. Work with them at your peril!

Appalling

An appalling company to buy through - disingenuous and unethical. AVOID.

It might seem expensive to use an estate agent, but we believe that the professional presentation of our property coupled with McCartney's help and advice, resulted in a quick and successful sale. It was reassuring having continual progress reports and help in moving things along.

You will not find a better Estate Agent, always supportive and sensitive to every issue. McCartneys carried out their services with consummate professionalism - just what we needed for a quick sale.
