GoogleI viewed a property on Saturday, the pictures did not reflect the property and had not been updated after the previous tenants had left. The agent apologised for the state of it, saying she had not seen it before we entered so said she would contact me the next week. She didn't so I called at the beginning of the week to enquire. The office staff had not been made aware of the issues with mould and rust so I was told that a maintenance person would be sent around asap and I would receive an update. Again, I received nothing until I called on friday morning for an update to be told it had been let on thursday. Unprofessional.

GoogleWe've been looking to move back to the Wellingborough area where we both grew up for over a year now. August 2015 we were looking at properties on the net and came across one on the Martin Hawksby website. It was just what we wanted but it was under offer so we didn't enquire further as we didn't want to get excited and waste time for nothing. A month or so back when we were really in a position to make the move I looked again at the website and the same property was still there, still under offer, so I phoned up to enquire. I was told it was sold months ago and shouldn't be on the website and would be removed forthwith. It's still there, still under offer, and I phoned up yesterday and was told again it was sold months ago and it was a mistake and it would be removed. Why keep it on for this long if it's not for sale? When I asked if it was a marketing ploy the fellow I was speaking to hung up on me. Has anyone sold a property through these people and had it showing as under offer after it's been sold. I'd be interested to hear. Needless to say we'll be looking at other agents for our new home.

FacebookI have used Martin Hawksby 5 years ago to sell my Mum's bungalow and they were brilliant then. So now I needed to sell my home it was a no brainer who to use. Martin visited on Tuesday, and even before starting the marketing they have sold it straight away. I cant recommend them enough or thank them enough. Well done to martin and his fabulous team.

Communication seems to be a major issue with this estate agent company. Do not respond back to telephone calls or emails, always chasing up. Being an independant company would have thought they would go the extra mile that is not the case.
