GoogleCharlie, Bev and the team were absolutely fantastic. From start to finish they were professional, approachable and responsive. As first-time buyers we were a little anxious about the process but they made us feel at ease and were always happy to answer our questions. GoogleI cannot recommend Hawksby's enough. I've used them twice now. They sold my 1st property in 24hrs for full asking price. 23yrs later they sold my last home in 6 days, slightly under the asking price but still a great price. The service I received at Hawkesby's was top notch, Chris & Charlie kept me updated constantly, using my preferred method of contact & not bombarding me with phone calls. They are so down to earth & really take their time getting to know you, it's like having a friend sell / buy your home, a really comfortable experience, despite the overall process being so stressful! I'm in my forever home now so won't need them again but if I was to change my mind they're the 1st place I'd go. Thankyou so much Chris & your wonderful team ❤️

A special mention must go to Bev, the sales progressor, who was absolutely outstanding throughout the process. She went above and beyond to keep everything moving, working tirelessly with solicitors, other estate agents, and all parties involved to make sure we didn’t lose our moving date. Her communication was clear, timely, and always reassuring. We genuinely felt she had our best interests at heart, and her persistence and professionalism made a massive difference during a very stressful time. GoogleI would like to congratulate Martin and his team for making the sale of my fathers house stress free and simple. The initial meeting and subsequent valuation was very friendly and professional and my father was more than happy for Hawksby's to act for him. Martin arranged for several viewings the following day and an offer was accepted from one of the first viewers. The team then took over and the sale was seamless completing within 8 weeks. I cannot praise them enough for a professional and courteous execution of the sale.

GoogleTruly amazing from start to finish! You only need to see the amount of thanks you cards they have to see how good they are!) I put my house up for sale on Monday after having 4 agents out Martin gave me a wonderful impression of his business and how they operate an true to their word they marketed my property on Monday morning and my house was sold on Tuesday! This came as a bit of a shock to me as I also got more than I expected and I was able to purchase a better property in Corby where I was looking. Between the exchange and completion it was a pleasure dealing in particular with Chris Perrin and Helen Dacombe who kept me informed all the way (I was in chain and this is always more complex than I ever understand but Helen and Russell were fantastic and kept me informed of the progress and the sale went through like clockwork Just to add, I also was introduced to Jay Patel who has helped me with my mortgage! I have learned so much from my experience and was such a pleasure to deal with Jay I have recommended many of my friends and family to go and see him when they come up for their renewals! He managed to save me and Husband (and my sister) allot of money by explaining the process and the varies rates banks charge and also the varies types and lengths of mortgages and what they mean.. Was all very simplified for me and I feel I understand soo much more than I did previously with lesser so to speak agents. I couldn’t recommend them more highly and was happy to provide a review for them!

GoogleCharlie at Hawksbys has been a huge help in my recent house purchase. As is usual, it was a stressful time with a chain of 7 making the process rather difficult but nobody could have done more to help get the exchange and completion moving and concluded. Chris was also brilliant on completion day. I can't recommend these guys highly enough and certainly wouldn't consider using another agent after my experience with Hawksbys. 100% customer service throughout. Thanks guys, you're the best!

Was very welcoming from the moment we got to the property and gave us nothing but positive vibes and was well informed on every question we threw at him. We had 2 viewings today with an agent from Hawksbys and it was a total failure. The agent just sat in the corner of the room on his phone, when I asked some questions about property all I got back was "I don't know" or "google it". We couldn't see the back yard as there was no one to unlock the back doors for us. Also that 2 houses we seen today should be classified as false advertising as on the pics property looked nice but when we arrived it looked like in 1 of them was a junky squad and another one had obvious leaks on the ceiling, dirty carpets, doors which doubled their size from damp and horrendous smell. FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.

GoogleDue to unforeseen circumstances I was in desperate need of a place to rent, I called into the office to see if they could help. They indeed could. Everyone at the office was welcoming and helpful in every way and understood the urgency of my situation. I felt like a person and not just another face through the door. I mainly dealt with Dean, I cannot emphasis enough how incredible his service was, he was very well versed in all aspects of the procedure, very efficient and quick to respond to my emails. It was refreshing to be dealing with someone with so much positivity, especially in a time where i needed that most. Little over a week after viewing a property I am now sat in my lounge typing this. I am not sure they understand how much of a weight off my shoulders this is. I would thoroughly recommend Hawkby's to all looking to rent and indeed buy. Very impressed.

GoogleChris and Charlie were instrumental in getting the sale across the line when there was any kind of hold up, of which there was a few. Charlie was always avaialable at the end of the phone and returned all messages promptly. Chris runs a good ship here and had the place sold , full asking price within a day! Would recommend.

I had a bad experience with this estate agent and abit of the same pattern as the previous reviewer from last year. I sent an email to lettings(at)hawksbys.net on Friday 19th July 2024 during business hours to enquire about 1 Westlea Road, Sywell, NN6 0BY, I recieved an automated confirmation email to say my email was recieved and "A member of staff will be in touch shortly." I waited very paitiently for a response. On Tuesday 23rd July 2024 during business hours I've had to send another email asking why I'd recieved no response. On Wednesday 24th July 2024 and before my eyes, I'm seeing 1 Westlea Road, Sywell, NN6 0BY showing as Let Agreed on Right Move however still no response to either of my two emails. My telephone number was also provided on the original email and therefore they could've even called me if they werent willing to reply to emails. I immediately called Hawksbys to enquire why my two emails had been ignored and I was told my emails weren't ignored and that the individual I spoke to never got an email and that they could've gone to a central database which I thought was strange given Hawksbys are an independent estate agent instead of being part of a franchise. I was also told they predominantly deal with enquiries on the telephone and that I should've called them which I thought was outrageous given they have a method of contact on their website and option to email on Right Move, this may well explain why my two emails were ignored. The male on the other end of the call ignorantly hung up my call and never bothered to attempt to call me back which confirms the call wasn't accidently terminated so all round terrible customer service but that's ok because that's why I've decided to put this review out to show it wasn't just the previous reviewer recieving terrible customer service and I'm certain there are others who've recieved the same treatment too. An estate agent to avoid.

GoogleRegrettably, our experience with this agency during the purchasing process was largely unfavorable. The approach demonstrated was marked by unprofessionalism and a significant deficit in communication. It appears that the agency primarily caters to the needs of sellers, neglecting adequate support for buyers. Throughout the house-buying journey, we consistently had to initiate contact with the agency upon encountering issues from the seller's end. Furthermore, there was a notable absence of proactive follow-up from the agency, both with us and our respective brokers and solicitors. Without our persistent efforts to reach out, communication from the agency was minimal. Each stage of the process presented unforeseen challenges that were only brought to our attention belatedly, resulting in considerable inconvenience. Ultimately, due to the uncertainty surrounding the seller's situation, prolonged waiting periods (extending to five months), and unfulfilled promises from the agency, we were compelled to discontinue the process, resulting in financial losses and experiencing excessive stress. Based on our experiences, it is difficult to recommend this agency to prospective buyers, unless they are sellers themselves.
