From the start to finish the Hamptons team provided a true first class service, exceeding our expectations for both the sale and purchase in Godalming. They managed our tight time frames from commencing our search, to completion, within 10 weeks, whilst still meeting our financial requirements. Their responsiveness and willingness to manage all of the queries and requests raised, made the experience of finding our dream home, and selling a home we were very attached to a much less stressful process. The team all knew how important it was for our family to move in time for the school admission deadlines for our children, they really took ownership of getting the multiple conveyancing firms in our chain to exchange as fast as possible. Without their tenacity and professionalism we would never have made it. Thank you so much, Andrew, Jake, Jason and Tania, a team who we entrusted our hopes with, and who absolutely delivered.

Avoid Hamptons if you want your deposit back

Been waiting for over a month to get back my deposit, after renting a property serviced by Hamptons for over 3 years. Very disappointed with the service, avoid !EDIT: another month has passed and I still haven't gotten my deposit. Poor customer service!

Example of professionalism - I have recently sold through Nigel at Hamptons International Godalming and I am extremely impressed with their level of service. My property was not at the higher end of the market but they were as committed and professional as I could have hoped for. Any issues with my sale were dealt with swiftly and professionally by the team. My expectations are high but they managed to exceed even these. They displayed a level of reassurance, communication, advice and approachability second to none. I must also mention my solicitor (Stan Baring Catteshall lane Godalming) and his partner for their part played well.

Estate Agents are often perceived in a poor light, generally seen as offering little for what eventually turns out to be a substantial closing fee. The service provided can comes across as unprofessional, and at times uncaring, with staff viewed as being on a par (qualifications and other-wise) with say car salesmen. However, in this ocean of questionable mediocrity there exists an island which provides an alternative to swimming against the current of housing disappointment. From recent personal experience this exception that proves the rule is the Hamptons office at Godalming. Led by Simon Jordan they are a welcome and reliable piece of terra firma in the estate agency quagmire. The team here are, to a person, thoroughly professional, committed, imaginative and always willing to “do that little bit extra” in the interests of the client that goes towards making an actual difference in the face of what can be difficult and challenging circumstances. Patience, tenacity, good communication and a desire to make things happen are the hallmarks of this group. As you can imagine, I am happy to recommend this particular estate agency office to anyone in the local area without reservation

After searching for almost a year, Hamptons were fabulous at helping us find and but our dream home. Stuart, in particular, was fantastic and worked incredibly hard; always being so patient and quick to get things done. Nothing was too much trouble and we were able to move really quickly to tie in with our sale. A surprisingly pleasant and stress free process! You can't always pick the estate agent if you are in the buying market, but we were very pleased that it ended up being Hamptons. Their agents were great sales advocates that were honest, helpful and professional. After our offer had been accepted on the house we were buying, we had to get in to the property quite a bit to get quotations for works drawn up and to do so, the agents often stayed late with us (even after their working hours) to let us in. They never complained and always welcomed us with a cheery attitude. We can't recommend them enough and would like to say a big thank you to all the team for being so reliable and supportive throughout the process.

They made their assessment and Daniel advised us to let the repair company carry out repairs to the machine rather than replace it.
