From our very first contact, the team was incredibly responsive and professional. They provided a warm, personal service and made the application process quick and straightforward. The property was prepared to an exceptionally high standard before we moved in, clearly handled with great care and attention to detail. It was evident that the team genuinely cared about making the move-in process as smooth as possible. A special thanks to David Montgomery and the entire team for going the extra mile. FacebookThe whole team at Montgomery & McCleery are fantastic, empathetic & compassionate people. They have helped & supported me transitioning from one rental property to another. I have been a tenant in 2 of their properties over approx. 5 years and I doubt I will ever use another agent as they are all an absolute pleasure to deal with!!! From start to finish, David, Mathew, and the entire team were professional, responsive, and genuinely helpful. They made the whole process smooth and stress-free, from arranging viewings to handling paperwork and move-in details. Communication was excellent throughout, and any questions or issues were dealt with quickly and efficiently. GoogleThe staff at Duke Street were so helpful and friendly. They went over and above the standard. You couldn't ask for better. The company should be proud of who they have employed. An elderly gentleman fitted a new postbox for me today and was absolutely precious and took pride in what he does. I could aspire to be like this fellow Creggan man....he gave me some good life advice. All in all my experience with Montgomery and Mccleery has been positive. 🙂🤘

GoogleRented the same property from these cowboys from 2017 to 2021. I was warned about them before I took the house but I thought I’d take my chances and hope i get a better experience, of course I didn’t and I was wrong. First issue was when I first moved into the property, there was “supposedly” oil in the oil tank, turned heating on and radiators were ice cold. Got into estate agents about this, they sent out a plumber who said there was no oil and to get some, so I got 200 litres put in, oil still wasn’t working. Contacted estate agents again, they sent out the same plumber who advised the burner needed bled as was airlocked (due to Montgomery and McCleery not having sufficient oil for new tenants). They then had the cheek to send out an invoice for 2 separate plumber call outs costing £50. Now I don’t know how everyone else looks at this but in my opinion, I wasn’t at fault for either of the two plumbing issues. I was threatened by Lynn Forbes to pay the invoice or I would be in breach of my contract over the phone, so I paid it as I didn’t want to lose the property. (P.S Lynn Forbes is a nasty piece of work if anyone has had the pleasure of dealing with thon most unprofessional worker you’ll ever speak to). Next issue, I replaced the Lino in the kitchen to brand new heronbone grey Lino which was still brand new condition when moving out, also replaced the dated carpet on the stairs and landing to beautiful grey carpet in fantastic condition when moving out. Renovated the back garden to a beautiful back garden (before and after pictures attached). (All work carried out in 2021) I still didn’t get any of my deposit back and they had the cheek to say I owe them £250 LOL. Maybe if they sold the brass on Lynns neck they might get the £250. Avoid these cowboys at all costs, and don’t bother doing up the property and maintaining it as it counts for nothing when it comes to your deposit.

GoogleDisgusted to say the least, my first interaction I was informed a property would not be available for viewing until February, but when I contacted in February to set up the viewing I was told it was already rented. Gave the benefit of the doubt and tried again successfully setting up a viewing for another property, but on the day, after receiving a confirmation text that morning I was told again the property had already been rented. While inshore I was also told I could submit an application which would cover me over four properties without a viewing but on calling about a property I was told I could not submit an application until I had done a viewing. After registering interest online I did not receive any communication to organise a viewing then on calling the office to set one up I wasn't given an option just a text to say this is when your viewing is. Very poor communication and staff seem to all have different ideas on how there process works

My application had a quick turn around time. They have a good property portfolio, would recommend them to anyone looking to rent in Derry/Londonderry.

GoogleRecently sold my property with them. Fantastic marketing of the property so that it was positioned correctly for the local market. As someone who lives outside the local area their local knowledge was invaluable. Kept up to date with viewings and bids so that I never had to chase on the case. Property sold in around 1 week from going on the market. Very happy with the service and would highly recommend if you want quality as well as peace of mind.

I just wanted to take this opportunity to convey my appreciation ( having recently installed a new tenant , on my behalf) ; their levels of service, communications and efficient, helpful approach have been exemplary and I am deeply grateful. I have largely dealt with Lynn ( and found her to be fantastic) but have had occasion to deal, and liaise with, other members of the team. Their very professional, helpful and efficient work is deeply appreciated; all my dealings with the staff thus far have been very positive. I understand the heavy workload they have but it is really impressive that they manage to deal with cases such as mine with prompt, individual personal attention. GoogleI have dealt with Montgomery for at least five times for rental. Not even a single time they give proper reason and it all seems pre decided who is gonna get the rental. Some days even after visiting within 30 mins they rejected my application.. Absolute joke of an agent!

FacebookExcellent support, during both the 10 year rental of the property and the subsequent sale. Could not speak highly enough of the office-based staff over the rental phase. And Ben was superb in advising me through the recent sale in what could have been a very stressful period, but for his diligence and professionalism.
