Martin and Sarah were absolutely fantastic. From being incredibly personable, transparent and approachable on the first visit to the completion. They made what is a stressful time as stress-free as possible and were fantastic at updating me with viewings, feedback and updates during the sale. Unfortunately my situation was challenging for them (not due to me) and they handled it fantastically and were so helpful when it came to the paperwork. They were recommended to me by 4 different people and I am so glad I listened and had them sell my house. I honestly can't thank them enough for their amazing service. I would definitely, without hesitation, recommended them and would absolutely use them again! It's just a shame they don't cover where I am looking to move to otherwise I would use them for my purchase also.

Completely fresh approach to selling a house, out of three estate agents contacted Martin was the only one NOT comparing our house to other properties, he took notes on features our property had that pushed the sale price higher for our house compared to others. Safe to say that our house was sold within 48 hours for full asking price! We had Sarah to thank for that, she has been on it the whole way through, super communicative even when she is out with other clients the rest of the team are happy to help. Would fully recommend Archbold Edwards to anyone looking to buy or sell!

Very poor experience with this agency. In a straightforward deposit return situation, the agency refused to provide real support and avoided responsibility. I was forced to initiate formal procedures to recover my share of the deposit, despite being a named tenant and having contributed financially. Poor communication and complete lack of involvement. Update: Following further clarification from the deposit scheme, part of the situation relates to the tenancy still being active. I maintain that communication and support from the agency could have been clearer throughout. Thank you for your response. I understand the position regarding the deposit being protected while the tenancy is still active, and this has now been clarified. However, my review reflects the overall experience, particularly the lack of clear communication and support in resolving the situation at an earlier stage. The need to initiate formal procedures could have been avoided with more proactive guidance. My intention is not to misrepresent the situation, but to reflect my experience as a tenant.

We regulary deal with selling agents and without doubt Archbold & Edwards have provided the best sales service by far. All the office team are experienced and approachable with no waffle. After taking advice from Martin and then instructing, the office staff quickly found interest in our house and although the buyer we chose let us down close to exchange, they went into action again, securing another keen applicant and getting the deal through without loss of time. During the process they gave very good sales feedback, had excellent liason with solicitors and generally went above and beyond with the service provided. They will certainly be our first point of call for any property matters in the Waterlooville area.

Players buyers off against each other In bad faith, I would honestly never buy or sell my properties through this company. Dishonest, untrustworthy, Avoid avoid avoid! EDIT - their reply is ridiculous. I was a first time buyer with a sizeable deposit nothing to sell. I was in the best possible position to move forward. I can only assume that there was some sort of bias against me either for my name or something else. please avoid this company, go to a proper estate agent.

I needed to find a reliable estate agent to sell my mothers house after she had passed, and as I live on the Cornwall / Devon border I needed an agent who could deal with the sale without me needing to be there regularly. I met Martin Archbold at the property and he was very helpful and said if i needed anything done throughout the sale he would be able to assist. Through talking with Martin he arrange someone to do some maintenance on the garden and someone else to clean the conservatory, these were arranged really quickly and for a good price. All the sales staff were really helpful and provided regular updates and the sale went through without any issue and was sold very quickly after a few viewings. I would totally recommend this estate agent to anyone else who wished to sell or buy a property in this area.
