GoogleContacted the agent back in August 2024, this was a difficult sale because the lease needed an extention. New buyer found and was kept interested in the sale. Lease was successfully extended by the solicitor and sale went ahead in early July. The delay in sale was in no way the fault of the agent in fact they kept my buyer and myself fully informed and the deal with the lease was completed.
In particular I would like to thank Roger who was always on the ball with information on the sale. Thank you Roger.

I've had both buying and selling experiences with them and their communication and sheer level of experience surpasses most on the High Street.
Emma, Laura, Tom and Roger have been my first point of contact over two transactions and fail to praise them enough for acting on my behalf and pursuing solicitors. They are highly skilled in their field of work and cannot recommend them enough.
I'm also fortunate enough to know Jeremy who has been there in the background if needed who appears to be highly experienced in high-end property sales, although this isn't the case as he has an absolutely superb team. If I could give six stars I would.

GoogleI was always told, if you don’t have something nice to say, don’t say it all so I don’t tend to bother with bad reviews but I am sat here thinking about my experience with Jeremy McGinn and felt really annoyed. Someone asked me how I got on with a property I liked and I had to say, I put in an offer and no one EVER got back to me. It was a real offer, not bogus, not too low and was something I was really interested in. I just never heard back even after calling and sending two emails to follow up. There are some super agencies around, I would if you can, give these guys a wide birth!

We’re disappointed to read your comments, as we don’t feel this account accurately reflects what took place. Your initial offer, which was over 10% under the asking price, was received and responded to by our team at the time, along with direction and advice as to where we felt any increased offer needed to be to be considered based upon conversations with our vendor.
The response received from you was that you ‘could’ increase your offer but you would need to sell your current property to raise funds (which we had understood was not yet on the open market). Within our response to your initial offer, we had also informed you that the vendor was in receipt of an alternative offer on the property and therefore any formal increase in figure from you would need to be able to be acted upon swiftly.
We acknowledge that there should then have been a follow up to you that a sale on the property had been agreed elsewhere and we offer our apologies that this didn't happen - this is something we will take on board as constructive feedback moving forwards.
As a small, independent business, we work extremely hard to provide a professional, responsive and personal service to every client and so would always prefer to deal with and address any constructive criticism directly. Reviews that don’t accurately reflect the facts can be very damaging, especially in an already challenging market and economy, so we feel it’s important to clarify the situation and would sincerely hope that if you run / are part of a small business that you don’t ever find yourself in a similar situation.

Negotiators are not experienced and have no sales or negotiation skills whatsoever mess you around right left and centre. Dreadful experience i would give zero stars. Don’t put your house on the market as they will put off potential buyers with their unprofessional ways. Dreadful agency. They completely ruined the chance of my friend buying a house and treated her appallingly. Worst estate agents in Stratford Upon Avon!

However, as we have no record of your personal involvement in the situation, and we would always prefer to deal with any matters or complaints with the person/s who is directly involved, we will keep our response concise. We are a small independent business and therefore take all reviews and feedback seriously so we’d like to take the opportunity to clarify any misunderstandings, for the benefit of yourself and the public.
While we understand you are clearly concerned on behalf of your friend, some of the details and accusations mentioned within your review are unfortunately not accurate.
We believe the situation you are referring to, is with regards to a recent offer that was made by your friend and reported, verbally and in writing, to the vendors of the property. The vendors asked for the opportunity to discuss the offer with family members (as is their right to do so) and the offeror was informed that this was the case. During the days the family were taking to discuss, a further offer came forward from another interested party.
As we are duty bound to do so, we reported the other offer to the family for their consideration also. As they were now in receipt of two offers, they instructed us to ask for both parties best offers. As is common, (certainly when deciding between offers) the vendors also asked that we request proof of funding in support of the offers, in order that they could make a fully informed decision, knowing that we had seen supporting funds. This is standard industry practice, to ensure that offers are credible and to act in the best interest of both buyers and sellers.
We are always open to constructive feedback and we remain committed to ensuring that every client and prospective purchaser is treated with courtesy, fairness and honesty, which we firmly believe we have upheld within this situation.
Our staff are all trained and well-experienced and we have every faith in their ability to represent our company. We have been an independent established estate agents within the Stratford upon Avon area for many years and are proud to have built a reputation on professionalism, transparency, and integrity. Much of our business comes from repeat clients, local connections and recommendations, something we believe speaks volumes about the service we provide.

Sade dealt with the sales negotiation and I really felt she was on my side, I was very pleased with agreed sales price.
