We are in the process of purchasing our new home with Crest Nicholson at Dalton Gardens Huddersfield, and everyone we have met so far from the Sales office Kate and Ruth to the foreman and builders have been so kind and accommodating, taking us step by step and helping us with any queries or problems and we couldn’t ask for any more of them and we just can’t wait to be able to settle in and enjoy our new journey that they have helped us with.

We had a viewing for BRIGHTWELLS YARD

We had a viewing for BRIGHTWELLS YARD, and while Ryan is very pleasant and good at his job (that is why it is not 1 star), the development is shocking. Outside all the paint is peeling off and buildings look really neglected and need repainting etc, the grass in the yard is fake, all the corridors are super narrow, quality of everything is the cheapest-cheapest materials possible, doors, carpets, radiators, kitchen cabinets, taps- gives some cheap student hall vibe. Bathroom does not even have a mirror or shower head holder. Have never seen quality as bad as this. I al really surprised someone is buying flats there to be honest.

This is the first time I ever moved into a new build home and the team at Crest Nicholson made it to a seamless experience They have a great team in place from sales to customer relations to on site support The overall experience has been great because the team have been supportive and transparent as well as very professional The sales team at WindsorGate from Lee to Esther and Melissa were very supportive with no hard sell and it felt like team work In particular I would like to recognise Lee Hanson - on site manager who exemplifies what good looks like for customer service and Jane Hunt as customer relationship manager has also been very professional and diligent in resolving any issues

Great customer service

I cannot thank Sally, Jane and Ryan at Brightwell’s Yard Crest Nicholson enough for their help during the purchase of a flat for my mother who has relocated to be closer to me. They were helpful and considerate throughout and went above and beyond during and after the move. The handover was smooth and the moving in gift was a kind touch. It is a lovely development and we are very pleased with our purchase. Great communication and queries were dealt with swiftly. Would recommend to future buyers.

Noble Park

Brilliant service from the team at Noble park. Special mention to Laurie who worked really hard to help us find a home. Always at the end of the phone even during storm Bert when the office lost power Laurie was there checking in incase we missed each others call. It wasn’t to be this time but I would definitely use Crest Nicholson again in the future. Welcoming, professional and knowledgeable about the homes and the development. Lovely to come across a house builder who really care about the standard of home they are building.

Thank you so much Crest Nicholson. We’d give 10 stars if we could!

I cannot thank Leslie and Robert at the Claybourne development enough. When we reserved our dream home in September and we were told completion could be in October we didn’t believe it but we were proven wrong and thanks to their tireless work in pushing our chain forward. They were so ‘on the ball’ they were able to find more information about the chain of properties beneath us and in doing so put our own estate agent to shame. On the day of completion thing we’re a bit fraught but Leslie was super effective in finding out the status of the completion and rather than us chasing her for the keys, she was calling us regularly to update us. The home demonstration the day before and the final briefing at the key handover meant we were able to move in and know where everything is and how it works. The house was sparkling clean and everything finished to an exceptional build standard. Crest will check in on us in two weeks and have even offered to repair any damages caused by removals. Thank you so much, we really can’t fault the exceptional customer service we recieved!

Great property and customer care from the Brightwell's Yard team

I can't thank Sally, Ryan and Jane and the rest of the team at Crest Nicholson enough for making the purchase of and moving into my new flat at Brightwell's Yard as painless as possible. All of the team I've dealt with were professional and helpful and responded to all of my queries promptly. Sally and Ryan were tremendous throughout the purchasing of the property and Jane has been a complete super-star when it has come to helping to resolve a few minor items now I've moved in. Finally the property itself is wonderful and is in a great location right in the middle of Farnham. Would absolutely recommend this development to anybody else looking for small & medium sized new build apartments in a great location with excellent access to the motorways and rail connections into London.

I thought I was alone in the financial morass that is First Port with the assistance of Crest Nicholson. I now see that far from being alone im just one of many suffering of being robbed. As others have mentioned, I was assured by CN that service charges would reduce in real terms. Sales persons chanting the company line! I wish I had known 11 years ago what I was about to suffer. My investment is haemorrhaging cash each year. Steer clear of any CN/Firstport property.

Beware buying a flat from Crest Nicholson

I bought a flat from Crest Nicholson in 2017. In the nine years Ive been living here i have experienced a litany of unresolved building issues and water leaks from flats above. The basement stairway has been sufgering from water ingress for the whole time. No repair action from Crest! The managing agent First Port are very poor and constantly put up service charges which are now at an unafordable level. The high insurance charges are very concering given the insurers Aviva are also the landlord. The whole Crest set up goes yet they take no action to remove First Port. Be aware of these circumstaces before you buy from Crest. These are my personal experiences and do not reflect the views of others

Had some viewings at Campbell Wharf…

Excellent customer service - I had some viewings at Campbell Wharf ones yesterday. Both Suzie, the sales & Alan, the builder were very caring to my elderly aunt during the visit. Alan was waiting with my aunt patiently (safety regulations in construction sites) to make sure she's alright while she's taking a breath on the G/F. Suzie & I went to the higher floor. Excellent customer service always found at this branch in each visit I had there. Found high quality flats & could see into details as well - some flats are on the finishing stage. Well done, guys!

Sewage flood & Trustpilot double standards

Due to defective installation of drainage the garage at our block of flats was flooded with sewage and unfit for use for a prolonged period. Eventually cleared and three years on we await reimbursement for costs incurred. Update 23 July. Usual nonsense from Crest Nicholson who have "asked for more details" despite many many emails on the subject. So sent a screenshot to the relevant Director - maybe a long overdue payment??Update 24 July. So having sent my details Crest respond stating my review is in breach of Trustpilot guidelines as it named the relevant Director. Odd how many other reviews name individuals at Crest and they are content & have no objection!Conclusion is positive reviews of individuals are ok, but any negative comments "breach guidelines"!!A true double standard which Trustpilot enable....

House move from out of area

I am trying to move from the Midlands to Henley Gate Ipswich. Josh in Sales has been great to deal with so far, however they haven't got a suitable house until the next phase now. I find Josh friendly helpful & efficient. He has given me tips for selling mine & how best to deal with the estate agents. I like the way the estate looks. Also the part of town they are building on . Its a great location . The houses are nicely spaced out & the mix of styles keeps the estate interesting. They have reasonable sized gardens & are not too overlooked . Once my house is sold I won't hesitate to come back & see what I can buy.
