I have to say that we have been so impressed with Purbeck Property and they have guided us through our sale and purchase. The sale of our home was not the easiest, due to our first buyers pulling-out at the very last-minute, which was devastating! However, Mark managed to keep the chain above together and found us a new buyer very quickly. This chain should have been easy/quick but was made very complicated and protracted by a local solicitors being used at the bottom of the chain (just diabolical and a shame I can't name them for being SO slow) - but Mark was professional throughout and kept us updated pretty much every day so we knew what was happening. We do not think any other agent in the area could have done what Mark did and we cannot rate Purbeck Property highly enough. Good old-fashioned honesty and integrity - thank you Mark.

Mark managed the sale of my Father’s home. It was far from straight forward with the chain collapsing at the point of exchange. Mark was quick to get the chain back together again and eventually the sale completed. He worked tirelessly to get it through and for that I am very grateful. Mark and the team are amazing I recently sold my house through Purbeck Property this year and Mark went over and above every step taking so much hassle and worry away from me as a single person having not done this before. Mark kept me informed every step of the way and even delivered documents needed urgently to my solicitor as I couldn’t as I was at work myself going over and above as a service I believe. I recently sold a property through Purbeck Property and was very happy with the service. I found that Mark and Dan were unfailingly polite and helpful. I prefer my comms by email and as the transaction was straightforward this worked very well, with fast responses from Mark and Dan. They kept good records of viewings and gave instant feedback, which was helpful in enabling me to log and track progress. I had previously approached some of the larger local agencies and found that at best, they were complacently resting on their laurels and at worst, totally indifferent to a new enquiry, which was staggering. I went with Purbeck Property as they are pleasant people and try harder, giving a personal service. Their fees were much more competitive than the dominant agencies, which is an enlightened attitude considering how the traditional estate agency model is outmoded and under threat from online services. Out of choice I would never use a traditional agency service. There is no economic justification for a linear, ad valorem fee. In fact, in any price negotiation there is always a point at which you are paying the agent to work against you as they try to close the deal. However, as I had no onward purchase and it was a remote transaction, where I could not be on hand for viewings, I was prepared to accept this. To be fair, the fact that Mark worked hard to help the purchasers to achieve a rapid exchange and completion by vigorously chasing their solicitors on their behalf was a great benefit to me too. All things considered, this was an efficient, friendly and professional service and is highly recommended.

I have recently purchased a cottage in wareham through Perbeck estate agents. I found them to be very professional in all aspects during the sale. They kept me informed of all the stages/ procedures throughout the dealings whether it was good news or bad news and were prepared to meet any problems or potential snags full on. This was the second house we’d sold with Mark and Dan and there’s a reason we went back to Purbeck Property, because they are fantastic and not like your other average estate agents! Always available when needed, super helpful, not at all pushy, listen to your needs and definitely nothing like a lot of the other estate agents we had dealings with! Mark and Dan really do care about helping, and listening to your needs, and I would use them again and again if I had to.
