The Green Green Grass of Home @ Heathy Wood

After moving in we were very disappointed with how our garden developed over the upcoming months. Sadly the grass in a very shaded area did not take and was dead. After speaking with Gabrielle at St Modwen Heathy Wood they arranged through Gemma to have this section paved leading way to a new look for our garden making it more accessible and attractive. Gabrielle and Gemma have exceeded our expectations and we are extremely happy with the final results.

Stressful experience with snags but Richie is awesome!

Richie at St Modwen has really helped us and he always goes above beyond! He’s very skilled, extremely efficient, friendly, great energy! He’s always made sure that we are happy and issues are either resolved or with a plan to resolve them! We’ve had a lot of snags that were really stressful for us and St Modwen were taking ages to deal with! We’ve had some technicians who were doing the bare minimum and some times causing more issues!Richie has really made our experience here much much better!

5 stars for the work from Mihail and…

5 stars for the work from Mihail and Richie not for the company overall.These 2 guys done a great job on some issues that appeared after 1 year of being in my property and made me feel so comfortable! Thank you! However the overall standard of certain things within my new build wasn’t great and can tell things are just quickly and cheaply put in. My bedroom window is still not right despite being looked at numerous times making my bedroom extremely cold in comparison to other rooms.

Richie and Mihail provided a professional and high standard of service when dealing with cosmetic snagging issues in our home. We needed cracks to be filled and painted they worked neatly and quickly to get the job done. They came on time and kept their working environment neat and clean. They clearly communicated what they would be doing and gave clear instructions as to what areas needed to be left to dry etc...We are hoping to have our other snagging issues sorted soon as the other issues are outside of these technicians remit.

Great customer service fix visit

I have had quite a few snags/issues that have needed to be fixed and most recently had one of the best/least stressful experiences with technicians Rob and Phil on the Banbury Place, Wolverhampton development. They spent time making sure my creaking staircase was fixed to a high standard and even sanded and painted a wall at the same time where a grainy surface had appeared so that under the stairs looked even better than before. Thank you!

Don't buy a housefrom these clowns

Don't buy a housefrom these clowns. We have been in our home 3 years just gone. Outside the warranty period and they forget you exist. Inside the warranty period we had to have a new extractor fan in the main bathroom, a new shower unit in the ensuite (that new shower unit has just gone bang and nearly electrocuted my wife, which prompted me to write this review), a rattling pipe whenever we switch the washer/dryer on the plumbers didn't want to fix, their contractor put asphalt down the man hole cover which caused the downstairs loo to backup, the garden is sinking slowly, their is damage to the living room ceiling and under the bath due to a slow leak due to a badly fitted bathroom (had an independent plumber check this out). They say there will be the odd crack when the house is settling and they are everywhere. DO NOT BUY FROM ST MODWEN.

AVOID THESE COWBOYS

Defective drainage left for almost 2 years with no use of a downstairs toilet along with multiple other issues. Customer services arent interested in any complaints you have, takes them days or sometimes weeks to reply with a measley short email that doent address even half of the complaints i listed. Once theyve took your money and stuck ypu with a shoddy house theyre not interested. Theyll expect you to lose money having time of work to fix their problems, damage your property and belongings in the process then give you the like it or lump it attitude. Avoid these cowboys, youll waste a quarter of a million quid or more of your money on an absolute dump and then there'll be nothing you can do about it without spending thousands on a solicitor.

Awful service!

They are awful when it comes to communicating during the conveyancing process. I am in the process of buying a St Modwen Home and they are the freeholders. My seller’s solicitors and sellers have been chasing them for a response for nearly a month for a deed of variation on the ground rent and they have not bothered to come back yet. They have stalled the whole process and they just don’t care. I have called their customer service team a couple of times to help chase but I keep getting told that it will be actioned. These people don’t care! People lose tonnes of money during the conveyancing process and St Modwen Homes doesn’t seem to care! Really appalling service!!!!

Stmodwen homes is what went wrong and…

Stmodwen homes is what went wrong and excluding the W creates the anagram 'ENDMOST' which is very appropriate as it has virtually done that to us. Having bought our family home from these is a horror story, that makes the Texas Chainsaw Massacre look like a children's movie... The only way they could improve is by closing down immediately and locking their gates for good. If only they could be honest, helpful and constructive that would be a start. The persons I had to deal with, who I won't be naming as they are not worth the air time should actually be called 'Dick Turpin', as the only thing they are good at is robbing people of their dignity, pride, time and money. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

Snags dealt with by top technician.

We had multiple snagging issues when we moved into the Heathy Wood development 3 years ago. Albeit some of them have taken a little longer to rectify, the customer service team have responded to our emails and phone calls: especially since Emma took over communications with us. Our final snags were resolved in a very timely and professional manner by Mihail. He definitely went above and beyond. Not only was he accommodating and resourceful, his work was exceptional, neat and meticulous.
