Ryan was fantastic throughout our house-buying journey. He was always friendly, patient, and professional, taking the time to answer our questions, and was great at guiding us, whilst always giving us time and space during the process. His polite and understanding approach made what can be a stressful experience, feel much more pleasant and enjoyable. He was excellent at communicating thoroughout, and it genuinely felt like he had our best interests at heart every step of the way. Recent experience with bad Tenants, 7 months of struggle to get rent paid and preventing damage to the property shows how important it is to engage the strong Estate Agent. Che McDowell and Louise Humphrey continue to be a delight to work with. Talking and interacting with is just a delight. Whilst professional they are both so personable. The only good experience is when you aren't interacting with them

Sent harassing emails to entire flat building during tenancy; expecting tenants to maintain the building in a way that is clearly the landlords responsibility. Would also try and sell us 3rd party insurance coverage to cover "damage" that falls under wear-and-tear, so the cost would not fall onto them. When we first moved in there was a clear fire hazard (exposed wires hanging from the ceiling with running electric), that after requesting maintenance for, was told it was a known issue for months. Oven upon move in was essentially broken, with the top heating elements bent at a 90 degree angle into the oven, and it produced a bad smell. Hob on top was rusting off. Was told that because it was "technically working" they didnt have to replace it. They finally replaced it after 6 months, but only when we emailed them saying they were infringing on our rights as tenants. Bad at communication for viewings when we were moving out. Also, the woman I turned my keys into on the last day was EXTREMELY rude, mocking me, and overall completely condescending and snarky for no reason when there was a small issue of keys not matching their inventory. The keys issue was resolved quickly as it was my housemate who had misplaced a key, but Martin and co were absolutely no help in resolving it and were horrible to deal with. Landlords are evil.

I viewed a property at Bestwood Village

I viewed a property (House) at Bestwood Village as i am very eager to move there. The agent showing me the property put me forward for an application right there on the spot after i told her i was desperate to live in this area to be close to relatives. On viewing I mentioned one concern about the bath panel needing repair but there were several other minor concerns i was prepared to deal with myself on moving in. Once i had been put forward for the tenancy everything seemed to run smoothly until it came to being handed the keys. It was only after paying the deposit and getting the keys that i was told there was an inventory attached to the contract with repairs that were pending. I took my own photos and added these to an email and sent them to the agency and the landlord.

If i could give zero stars i would, please please NEVER rent using this company. They do not care about you they only want your money. Got Mould? Has ur boiler exploded ? Or want a nice clean apartment when u move in? Yea nah they do not care im afraid, all this stuff happened to us, when we moved in the house was disgusting, the washer cupboard had like crusty carpet (and im no princess i can make do but bro it was so disgusting) like 10 year old hoovers covered in mould, trash bags with ripped out blinds in, all the bathroom cupboards had mould in and the legs on the bed were like snapped and the light in the bedroom wasn’t attached either it was such a safety hazard and now these guys have the nerve to ask us for money towards a cleaning service for the next people when i know theyre just going to keep the money and leave it. I left that apartment c l e a n too! Oh yea and when we moved in the water wasn’t even attached to the washing machine properly so we had an apartment flood which happened like 4 times while we were there, 2 was the washer just spitting so much water and 1 time the boiler exploded water everywhere to the point half the walls doors and frames all swelled up! and i swear it was the reason i got a lung infection cus there was so much mould and water in the air bro AND THEY STILL ASKED US FOR MONEY!!! I swear im not a dramatic person, i cleaned that apartment so much and im very understanding but it got to a point where it was just ridiculous and you’re paying all this money and nothing but the bare minimum ever got done! And i had to email so much to even get that! For real if you want your sanity, just go with literally anyone else!

The service at Martin & Co London Riverside was excellent and I feel very lucky to have been able to rent such a great property. Many thanks to the staff at Martin & Co London Riverside for their help, they were all very professional. Special thanks to Gracie Wackett who was very conscientious and even helped me to contact the landlord on her day off to help me rent this superb flat with floor to ceiling windows. This is the first time I have rented a house in the UK on my own. My English communication skills are limited and I would have a lot of questions that I didn't understand. She was the kindest agent I have ever met, she would answer my questions very patiently, help me with my problems, help me communicate with the landlord and was very efficient and got me this flat in just a week. I really liked the flat, it had a huge balcony where I could do yoga, sunbathe and have afternoon tea every day, and a living room with huge floor to ceiling windows where I could lie down and read a book and enjoy my time. My other favourite thing is that there is a super big fridge and a super big bath. The community as a whole is very well equipped with a gym, lounge area, board room, flexible work room and a friendly receptionist who helps me to take deliveries. The surrounding area is also great, with parks, cafes, supermarkets and very convenient.
