GoogleWe started looking for a flat to rent back in June and the lettings team at John D Wood were very helpful in finding us suitable properties to view, often as soon as they came to the market and explaining everything we would need to do as tenants to move in quickly. Niki was particularly good. Although we found a house with a different agent, John D Wood lettings have much better customer service and care. I would recommend!

GoogleTerrible experience with the Chris Mizen at the Southfields branch. To call him arrogant would be an understatement! I have now sold and bought property through this branch. Dealing with Chris each time. I would rather give my property away than ever use him again. If he asked a question he expected an answer immediately. sometimes calling twice in one day and following up with emails. Bullying tactics and bickering with me over any decision that didn't suit him. He has no idea how to treat customers and suspect he has no one supervising his behavior. He's a disgrace to any company and should work in a back room where he has no contact with customers.

GoogleOverall very good experience working with Chris and Jack in the Southfields team. A couple of initial hurdles (as with any house purchase), but we got their in the end! Good communication throughout and very happy with the purchase.

If I could give zero I will! Awful experience starting from when they gave me the keys and then literally disappeared! Then the inventory was totally different from what I found in the house and when I contacted them they said contact the landlord we can’t do anything! Glad that the landlord was cooperative. Now after leaving the house it took them 10 days to send me the inventory checkout and I called them everyday and they gave a different story every day! Now I have been chasing the deposit for 1 month! Literally awful experience, avoid at any cost.

RUN AWAY FROM THEM!I have lived in many flats in London and never have I experienced such a terrible process. First of all, we wrote down a formal offer with 1 only requirement. After our offer was accepted and we payed one week worth of rent to secure the place, they tell us that specific requirement cannot be met. They took almost 3 weeks to make the landlord sign our contract, and it was voided TWICE so we had to re-sign the contract 3 times in total as they kept adding clauses to it. During the move in, we realise the flat had not been cleaned (and the contract stated everything had to be professionally cleaned, even curtains and sofas.....) but the flat was in an appalling state really. We asked for it to be cleaned again and we are still waiting..... Not to say that we are still waiting for the landlord to pay the inventory. The people in this agency are very rude and will treat you bad. One advice, never use this agency!!!

They achieved a really great result having found several suitable prospective buyers and multiple offers, and all quicker than I expected. As a tenant by Vanet Asset Property Management (part of the John D Wood & Co Group), my comments for them are: just terrible!Such a bad treatment from one single agency. Staff turnover is extremely high, different agent each month. No issue log whatsoever, so you need to call them daily to make sure whoever picks up your case, will have the details. So many incidents where we thought our issue was progressing and being resolved, while in reality it wasn't!Forgetting/ignoring tasks, not even when it comes to deposit.Interesting to see what kind of training their agents go through? Do they know how to keep log of issues?Sorry but this is unacceptable treatment.

As a tenant who has had John D Wood as my lettings management for the last 6 years I can say that they are absolutely awful. They don't reply to emails, don't take responsibility, don't put out of office emails on so you can't get anything urgent done. I would never use them.
Where the same review appears twice we show it once. We leave out reviews that name another agent or another of the brand's offices.
