Edit (22/5/18): Never heard from Joanna or Foxtons Balham after leaving this review. Extremely poor handling all around. Thankfully I found a property that was listed with Felicity J. Lord, and they have been marvelous from the get go. Working with Joana at Foxtons Balham has been a nightmare and confirmed all of the terrible things I have heard about Foxtons. I was open to using Foxtons because I really enjoyed their easy online lettings search tools, and because they seemed to have their digital game together. However, once past the initial online account setup, the Balham office have been clunky, unadaptive and self serving. Let me explain what happened with Joana specifically. I joined My Foxtons and included a lot of information regarding my search. I immediately heard from Edy Ruiz (Baron’s Court) and let her know that I was currently in the US but relocating this summer, so email was best for me. She sent me a list of questions and it was easy. Then I got an email from Joana saying she had been trying to reach me. I let her know that she needed to dial + for an international call, since I was currently in the US. So the next morning, bright and early at 5AM EDT (that’s right!), I get a call from Joana. She has, of course, woken me up for a deep sleep. I emailed her immediately after this happened to remind her that I was CURRENTLY in the US, as I had stated before, and that calls that early were not acceptable and were well outside normal operating business hours. So 3-4 hours goes by, I’ve lost about two hours of sleep and have groggily started my day, so I decided to send Joana another email letting her know that I was disappointed in her lack of response and service so far, but here are my needs and requirements and I hope we can work this out. Never heard from her again. I guess it is her way or the highway. So much for living in Balham, amirite? Awful, awful, awful.

Amazing experience and great staff! My partner and I were looking for a new flat to move into and with the current rental market, this wasn't a very relaxing or enjoyable process. We contacted Foxtons Balham and let them know our budget and the type of property we were looking for and they showed us 3 great properties that suited our needs. Compared to other lettings agents in the area, they weren't trying to scare us with the current market landscape or tell us that we couldn't afford what we were looking for. Adam was great in setting up and showing us the properties, answering all of our questions (there were a lot!), reassuring us that we would be able to find the right flat for us, and taking us through the process of putting an offer down and beyond. Really great team and many thanks for helping us find our new flat!

Tom Pedrotti provided an unparalleled service when assisting us in our purchase of a flat in Balham. We were first time buyers with a complicated case (short deadline to complete and our purchase included a lease extension). I’m a self-confessed control freak and was very uncomfortable being unaware of the minutia of the property purchase process, but Tom metaphorically held our hands throughout. When we had difficulties with our solicitors, and the inevitable obstacles that can often occur in this process arose, Tom was there to reassure and guide, even at one point when I was in tears - I don’t think we would have completed on the purchase without his involvement. I have recently sold my property in Clapham with Foxtons Balham. I was very impressed with the service provided by Tom Coleman he went above and beyond to ensure we got a sale at a good price. He worked tirelessly to ensure we had maximum amount of viewings in a very short period of time. He was polite respectful and professional offering sound advice on every aspect of selling a property.
